Chapter 18

February passed by really fast. We had exams so I focused a lot on school the past month but now the exams are finally over. March is coming to an end as well.

The weather is getting warmer and spring is finally here. The flowers are blooming, the blue sky is clear and the birds are singing every day. Everything looks so peaceful during spring. I love it.

Kyle and I haven't talked a lot the past month because we were both focusing on our exams. We did help each other study a few times and I think that's one of the reasons we both hit high scores on our exams.

My friends did really good on the exams too so we decided to celebrate. Everyone worked really hard and it finally paid off.

There's a party tonight and everyone is going so my friends thought we should go too. Although I don't have the best experience with parties, I'm going to be there with them so everything will be fine.

Ava and I are at my house right now, getting ready. -"Ava you are gorgeous"- I exclaimed as I look at her. She is wearing a bright red dress and beautiful jewelry. The dress is short and hugs her body perfectly.

"Are you sure? Isn't this too much?"- she asks a little unsure. -"Not at all. This dress was made for you"- I state and she smiles. -"Thanks Boo"- she then says.

I walk into the bathroom to get dressed as well. The other day I went shopping with the girls and I bought a white satin dress. It's tight around my body and a little short but not too much of course. It also has thin white straps and the front makes my small chest look pretty.

The girls insisted that I should buy it so I did and I'm not regretting it because it is beautiful. It's not too revealing and that's one of the main reasons I bought it.

I walk out of the bathroom and spot Ava sitting on my bed. -"Haa we were right! This dress suits you so well. You are jaw-dropping Boo"- she says excitedly.

"Yes you guys were right. I love it"- I laugh at her comment and walk in front of the mirror to see the final look. Ava did my make up and straightened my hair. I actually look... good.

"Luca texted me. He says he's picking us up in a few minutes"- she says looking at her phone. -"Okay great"- I reply.

"You know, Luca and I are getting closer"- she speaks softly. -"Yeah, I've noticed that"- I admit with a smile. -"We're taking it slow though. To be honest don't want to rush things"- she says and I can tell that something is bothering her.

"What's troubling you?"- I ask and she sighs. -"Well, I don't really know. I just have this fear that he won't like me enough for us to be together. I think he still has feelings for you and I feel like I'm not good enough"- she responds and I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Nonsense! How can you say you're not good enough when you're one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. He likes you Ava, there's no doubt in that. You just give it some time okay?"- I comfort her and she nods.

We hear the doorbell so we head downstairs. I open the door and Luca is standing in front of me. -"Hi Heaven"- he greets me with a smile. -"Hey Luca"- I say.

"Are you girls ready?"- he asks as he walks in. -"Yes"- I respond. He stops on his tracks when he spots Ava. -"Hi"- she says smiling. -"Woah! You are... stunning"- he says admiring her.

"Thanks, so are you"- she blushes looking away. Luca blushes too and I just stare at them because they're too cute. Luca clears his throat, -"Shall we go?"- he asks and we both nod.
