Chapter 20

It's Sunday so my sister decided to go out with her boyfriend since she's not working today. She left an hour ago and told me she was gonna be late.

It's perfect actually because I'm going out with Kyle and I didn't want her to start questioning me again. At least not until the moment I'm sure about this thing between him and I.

Kyle called and told me that he's picking me up at 8 pm so I should probably start getting ready now. I'm really curious.. where is he taking me? Is this like a real date? I really don't know.

I decided to wear a short sleeve black floral dress that I bought one time I went shopping by myself. The dress is tight on my upper body and waist and it's loose from the waist down. The material is very soft and smooth and I love it.

I decide to go with a half-tie hairstyle which looks really good because of my curls. I do my make up.. just a little mascara, blush and lip gloss. I check myself one last time in the mirror and I head downstairs to wait for him.

After a few minutes I hear a knock on the door. I stand up and open it and I'm met with two beautiful brown eyes staring down at me. He's wearing blue skate jeans and a black t-shirt with a little rose printed to the left side. He looks good. He always does.

"Hey"- he greets me. -"Hey"- I say softly with a smile. For some reason I'm really nervous and I don't understand why. -"You..you look great"- he says eyeing up and down and I swear I can feel myself blushing.

"Thanks, so do you"- I compliment, looking away, feeling slightly embarrassed. -"You ready?"- he asks. -"Yes! Let me just grab my purse"- I say and quickly walk to the couch where my purse is.

"Alright, let's go"- I say and we both walk towards his car. -"So? Where're we going?"- I ask as I put my seatbelt on. -"You'll see"- he says with a grin and I roll my eyes. -"You always do this. Just tell me where we're going for once"- I say playfully. -"Nope"- he responds shortly.

I don't say anything else as I look out of the window. There are so many things I want to say, so many things I want to ask him but I just stay silent.

Suddenly I feel his hand on my thigh. His cold rings touching my skin giving me goosebumps. I look down at his hand just for a few seconds then I look at him. He's already staring at me, a small smirk showing on his face.

I quickly look out of the window feeling like I did something really embarrassing when in reality he's the one touching me. Even thought it's strange, I like the feeling of his hand on me. It's really comforting.

The drive was kinda long but we finally arrived. I unbuckle my seatbelt and get out of the car. Kyle takes my hand and I smile to this small gesture as we walk towards the entrance of what it appears to be an amusement park. I immediately get excited and I smile widely.

Kyle's POV

Her eyes light up and a big smile forms on her face as soon as she realizes where we are. I knew she was gonna like it. -"This is amazing"- she says smiling. -"So, where do you wanna go first?"- I ask waiting for her to pick a ride.

"The roller coaster"- she says wiggling her eyebrows. -"Of course"- I say amused by her reaction. The roller coaster starts slowly and then goes faster and all I can focus on is Heaven's laughter.

We both laugh as we go up and down, adrenaline taking over. She takes her phone out and takes a picture of us. Soon the ride is over and we walk towards the arcades.
