Chapter 13

It's finally the last day before Christmas break and I'm really happy. We're going back home tomorrow and I can't wait to see mom.

"Finally! I'm so tired. I really needed a break."- Emma says as we all walk out the building.

"Me too!"- Ava says. We talk for a bit and after a few minutes we decide to go back at our houses.

"Okay bye everyone! I'll see you next year."- Aiden says and we all laugh as we go to different directions.

As always I'm going back with Luca. We walk in silence and after a few minutes, he speaks. -"So, have you thought about what we talked the other day?"- he asks.

I knew he was gonna ask but I clearly don't know how to respond. -"I've thought about it yes, but I'm afraid I don't have an answer yet"- I say hoping that he'll understand.

"It's alright I understand"- he says with a smile but I can tell he's sad. -"How about this, I'll give you my answer after the holidays"- I suggest.

"It's a deal"- he says making me smile as we approach my house. -"Alright then, I'll see you in a few days"- I say giving him a hug.

"Take care of yourself"- he says in a soft voice. I nod and begin to walk towards the front door.

I prepared my things for tomorrow and now I'm laying on my bed doing absolutely nothing. I feel kinda tired.

I hear voices from downstairs so I decide to go and check on my sister. As soon as I enter the living room I'm met with Sophie and Kyle sitting on the couch.

"Hi Heaven"- Sophie greets me with a hug. -"Hi"- I say hugging her back. My sister enters the room holding some snacks.

"Heaven come sit with us, we're watching a movie"- my sister says but I'm not in a mood for that. I just want to lay on my bed and wait till tomorrow comes.

"Thanks but I'm tired so I'm just gonna go back to my room"- I say, -"Have fun guys"- I add.

I look over at Kyle who's already looking at me with a smirk on his face. I look away not wanting to give him much attention.

"Okay sis go get some rest"- my sister says. -"Good night"- I say walking out of the room. I go to the kitchen to get a glass of water and head back to my room.

I don't understand why is it so hot tonight. It's freaking December. I take off my shirt and lay down on my bed with only my bra on. I'll wear it later if I get cold.

A few minutes later my door slowly opens and Kyle casually walks in. I immediately put my hands in front of my chest trying to cover myself.

"Ever heard of knocking?"- I ask annoyed by his behavior. -"Yes but sometimes I forget how to knock.."- he says pausing for a few seconds, -"on purpose"- he adds smirking.

"You know that's creepy, right? And also, get out I don't have my shirt on"- I say looking around for my shirt. Where did I put it?
