Chapter 7

It's finally friday. This week has been really fun. My studies are going well and I also made some new friends. There's Emma, a funny girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, she's really pretty too. Ava, a sweet girl with short brown hair and green eyes, she likes to skate. Mia, she's a rebel girl and she doesn't care what other people think of her. She has black hair, brown eyes, a nose piercing and small tattoos all over her arms. And then, there's Aiden, a quite but funny guy that makes us laugh a lot. He has a secret crush on Mia but he's too shy to tell her. And of course Luca, my very first friend. -"See you soon guys"- I say, we exchange goodbyes and we all walk towards different directions.

I take a shower and prepare myself something to eat. Every friday Kate and Sophie have this tradition they created themselves. Basically they just go at each other's house and watch movies. They call it 'pizza night' because they always order pizza. At first it was only the two of them but Kate said that Kyle started tugging along and now that I'm here I'll have to do the same. Kyle hasn't talked to me once since the day he bumped on me, he only glares at me when I talk to Luca. Well I'm okay with it, as long as his not rude to me, I don't care. I sit on my desk and finish some of my school work. -"Heaven come on, Sophie is waiting for us"- my sister yells from downstairs. I didn't realise what time it was, I guess I had a lot of work to do. -"Coming"- I say walking down the stairs, I don't bother changing, I feel comfortable with the black crop top and the grey sweatpants I'm wearing.

We enter Sophie's house and I sit on the couch as her and my sister disappear into the kitchen to prepare the snacks. I get a text from mom, she says that she's visiting tomorrow. After a minute Kyle walks in the living room and sits on the couch next to me. -"What are we watching?"- he asks. -"No idea"- I respond not looking at him as I text my mom back. -"Who are you texting with?"- he asks in a serious tone. -"None of your business"- I say, I don't like talking like this but he confuses me. Why is he talking to me now when he doesn't even say 'hi' when he sees me in class. -"Is it that Luca guy?"- he asks again looking at me. I exhale a little too loud, -"Kyle, what do you want?"- I ask. -"Just answer me dammit. Is he your boyfriend?"- he asks raising his voice a little. -"Whose boyfriend?"- my sister asks walking in, Sophie following behind her with snacks on her hands. -"Heaven's boyfriend"- Kyle says raising an eyebrow at me. -"What, you have a boyfriend. Who is he?"- my sister asks me. But before I can say anything Kyle speaks again. -"Luca"- he says shoving popcorn into his mouth. -"Wait that guy that you met at the coffee shop?"- my sister asks again, this is so frustrating. Why did Kyle say this. -"He's not my boyfriend Kate, we're just friends. I don't know why Kyle assumed that he is but he's not"- I say. -"And you have to stop doing this. Why are you always in my business?"- I cross my arms in front of my chest as I look at Kyle. He lifts his arms up in defense and laughs. -"Woah you guys will never get along"- Sophie says and they both laugh except for me and Kyle.

They ordered pizza and we started watching the movie. I feel kinda tired. Thirty minutes pass and someone knocks on the door. Sophie opens the door and the girl that Kyle was kissing at the parking lot enters and walks straight towards us. She gives me a glare and sits on Kyle's lap. -"Kyle my love, where have you been?"- she says in a high pitched voice. I scoot away as they start making out. -"I was busy"- Kyle responds breaking their kiss. -"I missed you"- she says but before he can say anything else Sophie talks. -"I don't want to interrupt this romantic scene but girly who do you think you are entering my house like that?"- Sophie says in a sassy tone. -"Sophie stop"- Kyle says at his sister but he doesn't seem very interested on what's going on. -"No I won't stop, Kyle I told you not to bring your one night stands here"- Sophie says, she doesn't seem to like this girl at all. -"Honey I'm not just a one night stand I'm his girlfriend"- she says looking at Sophie. I feel awkward watching them arguing as I sit here, my sister doesn't seem to mind. -"Oh honey guess what. I don't care."- Sophie says and Kyle gets up. -"Okay okay, we're leaving"- he says. -"Enjoy the movie"- the girl says looking at me. -"What a bitch"- Sophie says smiling when they leave and Kate laughs.
