"Snack time."

"Stark, we're on your three, headed northeast." Natasha informed Tony.

"What? Did you stop for drive-through?" Tony replied. "Swing up Park. I'm gonna let 'em out for you."

Natasha and Clint piloted the jet while Steve and Nova clung onto the handles above them. A large gun came from the bottom of the jet and began shooting at aliens. Natasha and Clint shot the jet in the air as they were about to hit a building.

The jet moved to hover next to Stark Tower where Thor and Loki were fighting.

"Nat?" Clint asked.

"I see him." Natasha replied.

The jet began firing at Loki but he shot a beam of magic at one wing of the jet, causing it to break. Steve and Nova clung on tighter to the handles above them as they were practically flying around.

Clint directed the jet, trying to dodge as many people as he could as well as buildings before landing in a clear area. The concrete under them was now turned to rubble as the jet crashed.

"Thought you were a pilot." Nova mumbled as the doors opened.

"Yeah, yeah." Clint rolled his eyes jokingly.

The four of them exited the jet and looked up to the mess that was now New York. Aliens were flying everywhere and a large portal was in the sky.

"We got to get back up there." Steve stated as they all came to a stop.

More aliens flew out followed by a large snake like creature covered in metal. They all looked in shock as it flew over them with aliens jumping out and latching onto buildings.

"Stark, are you seeing this?" Steve asked.

"Seeing. Still working on believing. Where's Banner? Has he shown up yet?" Tony quizzed.

"Banner?" Steve furrowed his brows.

"Just keep me posted." Tony said.

"We've got civilians still trapped up here." Clint stated as they all hid behind a taxi.

"Loki." Steve muttered as the god flew past them. "They're fish in a barrel down there."

Natasha stood up and shot at two aliens while Nova did the same before crouching back down.

"We got this. It's good. Go." Natasha said.

"Do you think you can hold them off?" Steve asked looking between Clint and Nova.

"Captain," Clint paused, clicking in an arrow, "it would be my genuine pleasure."

Clint began firing at the aliens with his arrows while Natasha and Nova used their guns. Natasha glanced to the woman beside her with a solemn look.

"Nova?" Natasha questioned over the noise.

"What's up, doll face?" Nova joked, shooting three more aliens.

"I think we might need Venom." Natasha explained, sadly.

"I was thinking that, too." Nova nodded, placing her guns back in her holsters. "Mask."

A black goo enveloped the woman's body as Natasha and Clint looked shocked. Teeth wrapped around Nova's head along with large white eyes and a long tongue, licking its lips.

"Snack time." Venom growled before running off.

"That's not something you see everyday." Clint mumbled.

"Got that right." Natasha agreed.

Venom ran through the city, tearing apart and eating any of the aliens. People looked at the creature in shock as he continued with his meals.

After clearing a lot away, Venom ran up the side of a building and hopped onto the large snake like creature. And punched, but and kicked at it before joining, Steve, Thor, Natasha and Clint.

"What's the story upstairs?" Steve asked Thor.

"The power surrounding the cube is impenetrable." Thor answered, taking a double glance at Venom.

"Thor's right. We got to deal with these guys." Tony voiced over the coms.

"How do we do this?" Natasha questioned, breathlessly.

"As a team." Steve answered.

"I have unfinished business with Loki." Thor stated.

"Yeah? Well, get in line." Clint mumbled.

"Save it." Steve began. "Loki's going to keep this fight focused on us, and that's what we need. Without him, these things could run wild. We got Stark up top. He's going to need us to-" Steve got cut off by a motorbike whirring.

They all turned to see Bruce on a motorbike covered in dust. Venom allowed half of his face to become Nova's as she looked at the doctor in confusion. The five of them advanced towards the man who came towards them.

"So, this all seems horrible." Bruce commented, looking around.

"I've seen worse." Natasha stated.

"Sorry." Bruce apologised.

"No, we could use a little worse." Venom smirked, enveloping Nova's full head again.

"Stark, we got him." Steve told Tony.

"Banner?" Tony asked.

"Like you said." Steve continued.

"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you. You two, Nova." Tony said.

The large snake like creature flew around the corner, chasing after Tony. It crashed into the side of a building as the two continued to play cat and mouse.

"I-I don't see how that's a party." Natasha stuttered.

Bruce glanced to Venom who gave him a toothy smirk as Bruce nodded to the creature. The two began to walk towards the incoming creature.

"Dr. Banner." Steve said. "Now might be a really good time for you to get angry."

"That's my secret, Captain. I'm always angry." Bruce stated.

The doctor spun back towards the creature, his skin turning green and his shirt ripping. Venom and him brought their fists to the front of the creature, causing it to topple over them.

"Hold on!" Tony yelled, shooting something at the creature.

It fell of the bridge and bellow as people ran away from it. All of the Avengers stood in a circle. Hulk let out a loud roar while Venom smirked, his tongue running over his teeth.

"Guys." Natasha warned.

"Call it, Captain." Tony said.

"Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal, our priority is containment. Barton, I want you on that roof. Eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash." Steve explained.

"Can you give me a lift?" Clint asked Tony.

"Right. Better clench up, Legolas." Tony replied before picking Clint up and speeding into the air.

"Thor, you got to try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You got the lightning. Light the bastards up." Steve instructed as Thor swing his hammer and flew away. "Us three, we stay here on the ground. We keep fighting here. And Hulk...Smash."
