In the middle of a snowy woodland, Venom stomped through trees, tearing apart a bunker. The Avengers were taking down another HYDRA base. Clint and Natasha were on the back of a Jeep, the latter driving it and the other was shooting arrows.

Tony flew next to the Jeep before flying off in another direction. Thor jumped onto a Jeep that was trying to shoot down Natasha and Clint, knocking him out before shooting off with the help of Mjolnir or, as Nova liked to call it, Johnathan.

Steve rode through a group of agents, running some over with her motorbike and gripping one by his ankle before throwing them into a tree. Hulk caught a car that was on fire and threw it away from landing on him and Steve.

Venom ran next to Hulk, picking up an agent and throwing him into a tree with a small smirk. All seven Avengers jumped over a barrier into more agents, taking some out in the process.

"Shit!" Tony suddenly yelled, coming in contact with a barrier covering the HYDRA base.

"Language!" Steve shouted back. "Jarvis, what's the view from upstairs?"

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken." Jarvis answered, the AI connected to their coms.

Some agents came out with flamethrowers, preparing to strike Venom with them but he sank back into Nova and she pulled out multiple knives, throwing them so they lodged in one of their thighs. As they fell to the floor, she moved over to them, pulling the knives from their bodies and sliding them in her knife holders.

"Loki's sceptre must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defence without it. At long last." Thor spoke up.

"'At long last is lasting a little long, boys." Natasha replied, shooting an agent.

"Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise." Clint chimed in.

"Wait a second. No one else is gonna deal with the fact that Cap just said 'Language'?" Tony questioned.

"I know." Steve groaned. "Just slipped out."

"Aw, Stevie Weevie sensitive to swear words." Nova cooed through the coms, hearing Natasha snicker at the nickname.

"Shut up." Steve mumbled, still not understanding the name.

Nova heard someone creeping up behind her and span, jumping in the air and kicking them in the face, knocking them out. Someone approached her from the front, holding a gun. Grabbing the barrel, she pushed it to the floor as it shot at her.

She jumped, putting her legs around his head, dragging him to the floor, twisting her thighs until he couldn't breath and passed out on the floor. Standing, Nova ran off again, looking for the next person to take out.

Hiding behind a tree, Nova spotted another agent and shot him in the shoulder causing him to fall to the floor with a yelp. The bullet went through his shoulder and into the agent's arm next to him and the two went down like dominoes.

"Clint!" Nova heard Natasha yell from nearby.

"We have an enhanced in the field." Steve stated having been flipped by the speedster.

"Clint's hit!" Natasha called back, crouching next to the hurt Avenger. "Somebody wanna deal with that bunker?"

A roaring was heard and Hulk smashed through the bunker, taking out some agents in the process.

"Thank you." Natasha mumbled softly.

"Stark, we really need to get inside." Steve stated firmly.

"I'm closing in." Tony responded.

Nova was suddenly tripped by a blue mist. She groaned, rolling over as a man came past her with a smirk etched onto his face. He had a blue tracksuit on and bleach blonde hair with light stubble on his cheeks.

"You didn't see that coming?" He smirked.

Nova let a smirk cross her face, Venom spreading from her arm and wrapping around his ankle. The man yelled out as Venom threw him away, landing by some trees in the distance. Getting up, Nova walked further into the woods.

"The drawbridge is down, people." Tony voiced suddenly.

"The enhanced?" Thor questioned.

"He's a blue." Steve responded with a sigh. "All the new players we've faced, I've never seen this. In fact, I still haven't."

"He weren't quick enough for V." Nova stated, elbowing another agent in the face and sweeping his leg from under him, dropping her body so her elbow landed in his stomach.

"Clint's hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac." Natasha said.

"I can get Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone, the better." Thor said firmly.

"I can get Clint, Thor. Just focus on getting the sceptre." Nova grunted, jumping in the air and spreading her legs to kick two agents in the face, sending them onto the floor.

Nova ran towards Clint and Natasha. Squatting next to Clint, she tucked her arms under the backs of his knees and one under his back, lifting him with a small grunt. Natasha stood as well, making sure the cloth was on her wound. Nova moved a hand to keep the cloth in place.

"You're strong." Clint commented.

"Cheers, me duck." Nova chuckled, taking him back to the jet as Natasha blew her a kiss before running off.

"And for gosh sakes, watch your language." Tony suddenly said and Nova laughed softly.

"That's not going away anytime soon." Steve mumbled.

"You're right about that one." Nova nodded as the jet door opened.

She placed Clint on the table in the centre of the jet and held the cloth to his wound. Clint groaned in pain at the action and she apologised quietly. She handed him a cup of water and he took a small sip of it before letting his head fall back against he table.

Over the coms, Nova could hear Natasha calming Hulk down back to bruce and smiled proudly. Usually, Hulk liked both Natasha and Nova to be there, well, more Venom than anyone. Natasha was always slightly hesitant with her history with Hulk but she was getting better at overcoming her fears.

Soon enough, the Avengers flittered back into the jet. Nova handed Bruce his headphones and he smiled lightly at her with a small thank you. Natasha came over to the tall woman, standing next to her as she checked on Clint. Nova pressed a light kiss to her forehead and Natasha smiled softly.
