- "Also, you didn't have me to help. So, if we're doing this, we're doing this my way." -
Clint came back with the cradle in distress. Bruce and Tony were in the lab while Nova was grabbing herself a drink and a snack. When she came back, with a mouthful of chocolate, a Clint looked at her sadly.
"What happened?" She asked, gulping down the sweet.
"Ultron has Natasha." Clint responded.
Nova nearly dropped her drink. Clint went to speak again.
"Don't go anywhere or do anything irrational, I'm going to find her and they you go and get her from where she is, okay?" Clint asked carefully.
"Yeah. Yeah. It's Natasha, she'll be okay, right?" Nova panicked.
"She'll be fine." Clint nodded with a false smile, trying to calm the woman's thoughts. "For now, help Stark and Bruce with the cradle because if you don't they might fuck it up again."
Nova nodded and made her way over to Bruce and Tony who were waiting for her with cautious eyes. Nova crossed her arms and waited for them to start explaining. Clint jumped onto the cradle and tried to tug it open.
"This is sealed tight." He huffed, jumping off it.
"We're gonna need to access the program, break it down from within." Bruce explained.
"Any chance Natasha might leave you a message outside the Internet?" Tony asked Clint and Nova perked up. "Old-school spy stuff?"
"There are some nets I can cast. Yeah, I'll find her." Clint mumbled and Nova went to follow him. "Nova, stay."
"But-"
"Stay, Nova." Clint pointed at her and she huffed before going back to the cradle.
"I can work on tissue degeneration if you could fry whatever operational system Cho implanted." Bruce spoke up.
"Yeah, about that." Tony scratched the back of his head.
"No." Nova shot Don immediately, Bruce nodding in agreement with the woman.
"You have to trust me." Tony started.
"Kind of don't." Bruce disagreed.
"Our ally, the guy protecting the military's nuclear codes," Tony paused, making a hologram of Jarvis appear, "I found him."
"Hello, Dr Banner. Hello, Miss Black." Jarvis greeted.
"Ultron didn't go after Jarvis because he was angry. He attacked him because he was scared of what he can do." Tony explained, pointing to Jarvis. "So Jarvis went underground. Scattered, dumped his memory. But not his protocols. He didn't even know he was in there until I pieced him together."
