- "Well, isn't this just fucking brilliant." -
Steve and Nova walked into a café where Sam was sitting, eating a slice of cake. They all had caps and sunglasses on to keep them from the public eye. It confused Nova because it didn't really hide much about them but it actually seemed to work.
"She tell you to stay out of it?" Sam asked, keeping his eyes ahead. Steve and Nova didn't respond. "Might have a point."
"He'd do it for us." Steve mumbled.
"1945, maybe. And whenever you two knew each other. I just want to make sure we consider all our options. The people that shoot at you usually wind up shooting at me." Sam smiled as Sharon walked over, standing next to Nova.
"Tips have been pouring in since that footage went public. Everybody thinks the Winter Soldier goes to their gym. Most of it's noise. Except for this." Sharon explained, sliding a file over. Steve opened it, reading it. "My boss expects a briefing, pretty much now, so that's all the head start you're gonna get."
"Thank you." Steve muttered.
"You're gonna have to hurry. We have orders to shoot on sight." Sharon informed them before leaving the café.
"Well, isn't this just fucking brilliant." Nova murmured angrily as Sam slid over the coffee he ordered for her.
