CHAPTER 5

I haven’t been to thato's house again to study we have been studying at the library and seeing each other again. I really like him a lot and I hope he will be just patient with me until I get to that point where I feel like we can actually have sex.

Holidays end and we go back to school and everything gets more hectic and the only time we see each other with thato it's either at school during lunch or not at all. Apparently Thato didn't do that well on his maths subject so his dad got him a tutor and he's now picking him from school and dropping him off. 

We talk a lot on WhatsApp at night and we've gotten pretty close even though we haven't taken our relationship to the next level. It's now September and I'm excited about summer cause it's my favourite season ever. We are sitting outside just chatting with thando

I have been meaning to talk to mama Mavis about has been going on but I’m scared of her reaction. I didn’t know if she’s going to be live me or think that one am lying. Thando has been sneaking in and sleeping with me and that has given me comfort. When I told her about my dreams she got weird and said ay night she would hear footstool on our corridors. Someone coming in and getting out of a room but she has been scared to actual look and see whom it is that is sneaking around.

If I tell mama Mavis she might have an idea who it is that is doing this to me. Yes I will tell her after dinner. We are sitting outside enjoying the Sunday breeze of spring. Zuki comes in looking all sorts of beautiful. She sits with the other group of girls and they are laughing.

“ I heard she has a blesser. ” thando says.

“ What?. Where did you hear that?. ”

“ from one of her friends. That’s why she now dressing beautiful and she actually wants to leave the orphanage and leave some where.” Wow that hurt. Zuki wants to leave and she hasn’t told me about it?. What did I do to her that is so bad?.

“ maybe it’s max who’s helping her out thando.”

“ I’m serious. You do know she failed her June exams right?. ” yeah Thato told me about it.

“ I wish she would stop focusing on boys and just be serious on her studies or else she’s going to fail her matric.”

“ she’s definitely going to fail regardless.”

“ Thando!.”

“ No jabu. Why do you still care about her when she clearly is jealous of you?. ” I sigh.

“ she’s a good person  thando. Maybe she feels like I’m holding her back that’s ml why she distanced herself from me. ”

“ the excuses you make for that girl.. Yoh!. ” she claps her hands.

It’s after dinner and I finally have the courage to talk to. Mam Mavis. I walk in the kitchen where she’s washing dishes.

" Ma'am Mavus can I talk to you?."

" That sounds serious sisi. Is there something wrong?."

" I'm not sure ma but something has been happening to me." she stops washing the dishes and looks at me then looks around the kitchen.

" These walls have ears. I'll come to your room." I nod.

I go to my room and sit on the bed. It is better that she comes here so I can show her the marks on my body. I can't keep getting scared when I'm suppose to sleep but I know that someone is coming to my room at night and they do things to my body. God am I even still a virgin?.

It's been 15 minutes and I begin to wonder if mam Mavis is going to come but the door opens and she comes in and closes the door. She pullsa chair and sits.
