CHAPTER 33| Triggers?

Kwame keeps knocking on the door asking me why I have locked him out. I know maybe I'm over reacting but I'm mad at him that I didn't see him the whole week. I missed him. He would only text but why didn't he come to check up on me to see if I'm okay. A whole week not seeing someone you love? What is that. He tells me he's not going to stop knocking until I let him in and he sounds serious. I won't be able to sleep with him knocking like this. I get up and go unlock the door.

He follows me to bed not saying anything. I get in bed and I hear him taking off his clothes and getting in bed. I can feel his eyes at the back of my head. I know he wants to talk but the only thing I want to hear coming out of his mouth is why didn't he come to see me. He pulls me to his bare chest. His hand goes under my pyjama top and touches my stomach. I just melt. I can't help myself so link my hand with his. I love his touch.

" Baby? " I breathe out deeply. " Look at me please? " I shake my head. " Why are you mad at me baby? " Is he serious?

" Are you really asking me that? "

" Yes I am love. Tell me why you're mad at me " I turn and face him.

" Kwame I haven't seen your for a whole week. You just disappeared on me. You didn't come to check if I'm okay "

" But you did the same thing love."

" What? " he chuckles.

" I missed you too you know. You know where I work, where I live but you didn't come to see if I'm okay. I'm not mad at you but you are mad at me for doing the same thing you did " Did he really want me to come and check up in him?

" Are you serious? " he chuckles.

" Yes I am but the real reason why I didn't come to see you is you told me that you have so many assignments to do baby. I didn't want to come and disturb you. I wanted you to catch up without any distraction from me. I'm sorry for making you think that I'm just ignoring you. This week was I had allot of work and I was going home really late. I would find myself driving here but then I would change the direction. I'm sorry. Please forgive me " I feel so ridiculous right now.

" I'm sorry too for not coming to see you. I know you're a busy man and I should have at least asked how you're doing "

" Don't apologize baby. You know you can come at any time at my office right. I'll leave whatever I'm doing and attend to you. That's how much I love you "

" I love you too "

" Please don't ever lock me out of our bedroom and give me the silent treatment. I don't think I can handle that " I smile.

" I promise "

" I'm sorry that fool scared you. I'll deal with them okay? " I nod. " Now tell me about this girl that demanded money from you. Why didn't you tell me about it? "

" I didn't want you to worry "

" I always worry baby when you're not next to me. Can you please do this one thing for me? "

" Stay away from Thando or anyone that is connected to her and if something does happen that involves her please tell me immediately "

" I never want see her ever again. I promise I'll tell you "

" If she ever does something again that threatens your life. She will pay baby " I can hear the threat in his voice. He means it. I nod. " Let's sleep baby "

He pecks my lips but I open my mouth and his tongue slips in. He tries to pull back but I cub his face and deepen the kiss. I moan as his tongue swirls in my mouth and take lead. God it feels so good. His hand goes under my pyjama top and he cubs my breast. I arch my back and push my breast in his hand. I want more.
