After putting our clothes on the wardrobe we go to the kitchen passing closed bedrooms. I wonder why those room are closed cause Natasha said she’s living alone. This house is beautiful and big for someone to live alone. Maybe her friends or nieces and nephews keep her company when they are visiting. I am glad though that she accepted to take us in with out any worries. I tried calling that I but his phone went to voicemail. I know though he will call when he arrives at Newcastle..
The house smells lovely. She really indeed cooked. We join her in the kitchen and sit down as she’s finishing fishing up for us. Natasha looks like that’s mother. If maybe I haven’t met his mother this morning I would have thought that Natasha is his mother. She is beautiful and looks glamorous. I wonder though why she isn’t at work cause it’s Thursday today. Maybe she’s one of those people that work from home.
“ you really have a beautiful home aunty Natasha.”
“ Thank you jabu. ” She smiles. We wash our hands then sit down.
“ I want to have a big home like this one when I’m older and working ” she laughs.
“ You will baby one day. Let’s eat.”
We eat our lunch then we insist on washing the dishes. She tells us she’s going to get something on the mall. She invites us to go with her but we politely decline her offer and she leaves. Driving the Audi Q7.
“ wow that car is beautiful ” thando says.
“ It is. I wonder what she does for a living though. I mean shouldn’t she be at work?. ”
“ I think it’s either she has a very rich sugar daddy or she’s is sleeping with a married man who’s very rich. One of the two or both jabs. I’m telling you ”
“ or maybe she runs her own business and or maybe she was married and her husband passed away and left her some money. ”
“ Yeah maybe. How are you feeling though? ”
“ I’m hurt that thato is gone, we are in a strangers place and I don’t know why would his mother would say all those things about me. I mean I understand that we are too young to have sex but she didn’t have to be mean. ”
“ She was really mad but thato could have told her you were a virgin. Je just stood there and let his mother assume things about you ”
“ it doesn’t matter cause it has already happened. I wonder what is she going to think when she finds us here at her sisters house ”
“ Thato wouldn’t have asked his aunt if we can stay here knowing that his mother wouldn’t approve. Maybe they are not close. ”
“ maybe. ”
My phone rings and it’s thato. In get emotional for a minute then answer it.
“ Hello? ”
“ that’s not how you greet someone you love sunshine. ”
“ hey baby ” he chuckles.
“ Are you okay? Is my aunt being nice? ”
“ I am okay. She’s very nice.”
“ I’m sorry about what my mom said. I told her you are nothing like how she thought.”
“ She was just mad that’s all. Any parent would be when they find their child in that kind of situation.”
“ Ok sunshine. I’ll talk to you before you sleep. I just wanted to hear your voice and tell you that I love you. ” I smile.
“ I love you too baby ” we hang up.
