Third person P.O.V.

Like he had expected, Remington and Emerson were the first to arrive. Geoff opened the door for them and relieved Remington from one of his bags. "What are you carrying around with you?"

"Thought we'd bring some snacks," Emerson shrugged, "first time hanging out and all."

Okay, that was actually really nice. "Oh cool, is there anything that has to go in the fridge? Like drinks?"

"Yeah, hang on." And then, Remington proceeded to take out a bowl of dip, a bowl full of some kind of fruit salad and what looked like cake?

What the fuck? Geoff was beginning to feel slightly guilty for not bringing anything. But to his credit, he was over way more than these two and practically lived here. And Awsten and Otto always had something to eat.

Emerson laughed at his spluttering, "Sebastian likes to make food for some reason. So we have plenty of leftovers at all times and he made us bring them over."

"Oh, and he's on a date with Larisa so he won't be there," Remington added from the kitchen. When did he get there?

They were just getting comfortable on the sofa, as the door got opened again. And Otto walked in. With Awsten hanging from his back and laughing maniacally. "Hey guys!"

Geoff rolled his eyes, Remington and Emerson waved and Otto rolled his eyes. Then, he walked over to the bean bag in the corner and let go of a screeching Awsten.

This resulted in a pouting child. But Otto stayed resolute. Until he discovered the bowls on the table. His face lit up. "Is that food?"

"Yup," Remington answered and extended the bowl with the dip helpfully.

Otto snatched a carrot and dipped it inside. "Damn, that's delicious! And healthy. Are you trying to kill me?"

"Sebastian tries to get us healthy don't blame me," Remington defended himself.

During their bickering, Awsten had gotten up from his corner and walked to the kitchen. He got himself a can of soda and chugged the second at an unsuspecting Otto. It hit his head, making everyone laugh.

And Otto rub his head all while glaring at his best friend. Best friend ha. Geoff knew that they fawned over each other since forever.

Awsten smiled at him innocently and opened his can. Did he hate not having Otto's attention? Maybe. But he did feel bad as he saw how Otto continued to rub his head. "Hit you too hard?"

"Asshole," Otto grumbled and flinched as Awsten walked over to him, his own can raised.

But Awsten only pressed it gently to the hit spot to soothe it with its coolness. Otto sighed relieved and leaned into it.

While the two had a mini moment in a full room, Geoff rolled his eyes (it wasn't the first time he witnessed his best friends being obviously in love) and Remington cast him a questioning look. He got a nod in return and a shove from his little brother. Emerson had picked up on them immediately but he wouldn't let his brother ruin it for them.

"Anyone up for Xbox?" Remington cut the tension nonetheless. It was getting boring to just watch them.

Awsten threw a little disappointed glare at the ground and Otto peeled away from him to sit on the ground and grab a controller. "Sure. I'm gonna beat your ass though."

"Let's find out," Remington gave back and caught the controller Geoff threw at him.

The match started out with shouting already, Awsten goofing around and trying his best to distract Remington and cheering Otto on at the same time.

Emerson and Geoff had resumed to just watching and getting a few refills on the drinks as it got boring.

Back in the kitchen, Emerson chuckled as Awsten made a particularly bad attempt at scoring a goal for Otto by clutching his hands over Remington's eyes. "Is he always like this?"

"Most of the time," Geoff agreed, head in the fridge, "but more when Otto's around."

That seemed awfully like a confirmation to Emerson. Maybe they just didn't say anything to him? They haven't been talking too long, maybe they were a bit insecure? Of course not justified but still. "Wait are they..."

"Oh no," Geoff laughed, "Awsten's like this since high school and Otto either is too oblivious or too insecure."

"And they never talked it out?"

Geoff sighed like a man who had been watching his best friends be idiots in love for years. "Believe me, I tried to get them to but Awsten's too chicken and Otto brushes off everything I even mention in this direction."

"They're idiots," Emerson groaned.

Just then, they could hear a triumphant scream and then laughter as Otto got tackled.

The picture they walked into was Awsten lying on top of a laughing Otto, Remington next to them on the sofa and the controllers thrown to the side.

Geoff just shook his head and handed out the drinks. Eventually, the pile on the ground got up and Otto, still on his high nudged him. "Up for a round Mario kart?"

"Always," Geoff grabbed the disposed controller and leaned back. At least he knew how to hold off Awsten. Also, Otto was so bad at it, it was almost sad.

The rest of the evening was spent with far too much to eat and in result five very tired guys. At some point, they all fell asleep in the living room. Needless to say that everyone was complaining about back pain the next morning.
