Meeting Once Again

I'm lost for words, as I look at Razor.

His once long fluffy hair, now cut short, parts of it pushed back, his usual clothes now replaced with simple Mondstadt everyday wear, a white shirt with a black collar underneath the collar of his shirt, holding his vision.

How long had he been in Mondstadt and I didn't know?

I look back to when we saw eachother at the tavern, he was with the knights then, had he been with them before?

"Razor, I-" I try forcing words to take form and say what I want, but seeing him after so long just, leaves me stunned.

"I want to talk to you." I finally manage to say. "I know I haven't been the best, and I-"

I'm interrupted by Xingqiu, who grabs Razor's shoulder and pulls him back a bit, putting himself between me and Razor.

"I don't mean to interrupt you Bennett, so please excuse my manners, but what you seem to be addressing, seems like a more-" Xingqiu pauses to give me a look, as if he had put all the pieces together, from our last talk. "personal matter." He continues.

"Razor and I, happened to be working on a project you might find intresting; but first well have to clean up all these books." He spreads his arms, gesturing to the open and spread out books on the table.

I look at Razor, his gaze focused on me, he seemed to have a paper in his hand, close to his chest.

'What is that.'

"Let's..." Razor speaks. "Meet outside, at the steps of Favonius building."

Not only had Razor's appearance changed, his speech too. How much had I missed, all because I had been caught up in my own emotions?

'I'm so sorry Razor for the way ive been, I've should of been better. I'm sorry'

I give him a nod.

"I'll, see you out side then."

I walk out of the library, so much on my mind.
