The airport was filled with people, everyone heading in different directions, the smell of coffee lingered in the air as everyone around tried to get to their flights and stay awake at the same time. Through the large glass windows the view of the early morning sun could be seen, towering over the airplanes that were outside, waiting to be boarded.

Katherine was sitting down on one of the extremely uncomfortable chairs, a warm Starbucks cup clutched tightly in her hand as she scrolled through her phone, her feet tapping against the floor as her head seemed to be going a thousand miles per hour.

She though of how this could possibly go both ways. One option, hopefully the one that would take place, was that she would get her, as they say, big break. Yet her stomach churned at the idea of this going wrong, after all, in the past years of her life she had been able to participate in a few movies and television shows, which led to her being reasonably well known and followed by people, and now, here she was going to New York because her dream of being on broadway just would not stop nagging her.

After all, once someone does years of ballet and singing lessons, the next reasonable step is to pack up your house that you have had ever since you left college and head to New York city in hopes of getting a role in a broadway show when your already thirty-one, right?

This is ridiculous though Katherine as she looked around at everyone that was moving about the airport what am I doing?

Glancing down at her phone, she realized that it was time to board the plane, so taking a deep breath, she tossed her coffee in the trash next to her and stood up, taking her carry on in her hands and heading towards her terminal.

She could not help but let a grin make its way onto her face as she handed her passport and plane ticket to the worker. Before she headed into the plane, Katherine glanced up at it and laughed softly as she realized that everything was now going to change.

The plane was already filled with a few people when she walked in, quickly checking her ticket for the number of her seat and sitting down, Katherine glanced at the window and looked to see the sun that was shining brightly. Taking out her headphones and connecting them to her phone, the woman pressed play on her playlist and kept looking out the window, a hopeful feeling sprouting in her chest as she waited for the plane to fly her to New York.
