A mess of clothes was spread out around Katherine's apartment as she packed her bags. Her flight to Boston would be leaving in three hours and she had to leave her apartment in roughly thirty minutes.
"Do really need this much stuff?" Charles asked as he watched Katherine try to close her suitcase "aren't you only staying for like two months?"
"Yes," Katherine mumbled, sitting herself down atop her suitcase and trying to close the zipper "what's your point?"
"My point is that you're taking practically everything you own" Charles laughed.
"I'm just taking two suitcases, Charles. You act like I'm packing up the entire apartment."
"Why are you flying out so early?" he asked "the first performance is only on July 10th"
"We still have dress rehearsals to do" she explained, "plus, it's important we get to know the stage."
John had sent Katherine her plane tickets two weeks prior, explaining that she and the rest of the cast would be staying in a hotel room. She would have her own room, however, Katherine was sure that Bianca would be spending most of her time with her anyways.
Today she would be flying out with half of the cast. The rest would be flying the next day. Although, Katherine was sure that some people from costuming would be going with them.
Things ever since John's wedding have been slightly calmer. Nonetheless, she and Aaron were still acting a bit weirdly towards the other sometimes, but to Katherine's content, everything had mostly gone back to normal.
Still, whenever they had to practice a stage kiss, they had done four more of those, she would feel something different than what she used to feel. But she kept reminding herself that they were professionals and they would just have to get over it.
When she finally got her suitcase closed, Katherine breathed out a sigh of relief and leaned her head back on the wall. Charles watched her with a smirk before glancing down at his phone.
After the wedding, Katherine had stayed true to her word, setting Charles and Bianca up on a date. So far, things between the two of them had been going smoothly and Katherine was glad that two people that meant so much to her were happy together.
