Nervous. That would be a huge understatement of what Katherine was feeling at that particular moment. Anxious, worried, and petrified would be more like it.
In a short hour, she would be stepping onto the Broadway stage as Satine. Now, she had performed already, numerous times in Boston. But this was different, this was what she had been working for all her life. And now that it was here, she didn't know how to react.
When she had woken up that morning, Katherine had looked over to see that Aaron was still fast asleep, clearly not worried about anything. She had cuddled further into his arms, smiling as she felt him wrap his arms around her and pull her close.
But as comforting as Aaron was, he still couldn't calm her nerves, especially not when he was asleep. So, after tossing and turning for a while, Katherine got out of bed and headed over to his living room, sitting herself down on the couch and cuddling up to Miles.
When Aaron woke up, they both had breakfast together before heading out and going to the theatre. They had quite a while before showtime, therefore the pair simply stayed in her dressing room, trying to pass the time.
Aaron had realized that she was quite nervous, and he had whispered words of encouragement to her as he tried to get her to calm down. Still, Katherine was not much calmed, choosing to listen to some music and read a book to get her mind off of things.
After a while, Aaron headed into his own dressing room. When Katherine thought about it, that had actually been quite some time ago, and now she was starting to wonder where he was.
She stood up from the couch in her dressing room and headed out in search of Aaron. Hearing some laughing coming from Ricky's dressing room, Katherine walked over there, smiling to herself as she saw the two men laughing together.
"Hey Kate," Aaron grinned, putting down his coffee and gesturing for her to come over "we just finished up one of Ricky's lives."
"Oh really?" Katherine asked, walking over to Aaron and leaning against the wall "you two are on your way to becoming influencers," she added with a small laugh.
"I think we'd better just stick to broadway," Ricky smiled, shutting off his phone and smiling at Katherine "so, are you ready for your official broadway debut?"
