Rain was soflty falling from the sky. The sound of it hitting the buildings and windows rang out peacefully inside the apartment. Outside, everyone was going about their days, after all, New York City didn't stop for a little rain.

Katherine was seated in front of a window, looking out at it with a small smile. A used coffee mug was next to her, along with the most recent book she had read. She had finished it a few minutes ago, and now, without anything better to do, she was simply relaxing.

Meanwhile, Aaron was walking through New York, his hair and clothes wet from the rain. He had been out buying something, and now he desperately wanted to get back home to her.

One year and a half ago, they both decided to move in together. It had been a big step, but it was one that they gladly took. Katherine and Aaron had agreed to get their own apartment, somewhere that could be their own.

After searching for a while, they finally found the right place. It was a two-bedroom apartment, close to where Katherine lived before. It had been hard for her at first, not to live right across from Charles. But after a while, Charles and Bianca had moved in together, and now it seemed that everyone was moving on with their lives.

As for Callum, he had actually met someone at a bar. A nice-looking guy that went by the name of Noah. Katherine had been delighted for her friend, glad that he had finally found someone that he could love.

Katherine and Aaron had carefully decorated their own apartment together. It had taken quite some time and a lot of work on both their parts. But it had been extremely amusing. For some reason, they had decided to buy the furniture and put it together on their own, even though the store they bought everything from had offered to help.

Along the way, they both found out that, Katherine was not patient enough to read the instructions. And two, they both sucked at putting everything together. Amid all the mess, they had spent what felt like ages searching for the right pieces, all cluttered together on the floor.

But after a while, they had been able to do it. And really, the apartment looked amazing. It was a perfect combination of both Katherine and Aaron. Every little thing was perfect, with things from each of their old places decorating the space, along with some new decorations as well.
