The weather had been slightly warmer, with slightly being the key word in this equation. The snow had stopped falling, leaving only a bit of ice left on the road, although the weather report had mentioned that the snow and freezing weather would be back soon enough, it felt like a slight relief to have clear skies for a day.
Katherine loved the snow, she had never experienced it much having lived in LA most of her life, only having seen the snow when she went on vacation.
However, she had to admit that she was relieved to have different weather for once, something that wasn't just snow on top of more snow.
The girl had received a call a few days ago, informing her that the first rehearsals were to take place on March 1st. Seeing as the theatre that they would perform at was not yet ready, they would be rehearsing at a dance studio for the time being, not having any need to do dress rehearsals yet.
Katherines agent had told her that the production was looking to open in Boston before getting the okay to start on Broadway. Although what Katherine really wanted to do was perform on Broadway, she though it over and decided that this was good news, it meant that she could have a bit of a trial period before having to jump into the big thing.
It was now March 1st and Katherine had just finished getting herself ready, making sure to wear something comfortable as she was sure that she was in for a long few hours.
The woman had gotten on the subway, almost falling asleep as it rode through New York city, taking her to where she needed to be.
Once she arrived at the studio, she hurriedly walked in and she was surprised to see that she was one of the first people there.
Katherine instantly spotted Bianca, who was stretching in the corner of the room, her blond hair already tied up in a tight bun at the back of her head.
"Good morning" Katherine greeted with a smiled, walking over to her friend and leaning against the wall.
"Not really" Bianca grumbled under her breath before turning to Katherine "I didn't have time to have my morning coffee today"
"I'm sure you'll be fine" Katherine shrugged with a smile, trying to hold in her laughter at the sight of her friend in such a bad mood.
"Just steer me clear of anything that could get on my nerves today" the blond replied with a tight lipped smile "anyways, you excited?"
