Untitled Part 18

"Just tell me. Please?" Brian asked.

My stomach clenched into a ball of nerves. It was seriously an accident, but, Brian is not going to see it that way at all.

"Uh, well." I said, stepping away from him.

"Kia, was it Carlos?" He growled.

I shook my head quickly. I'm about to panic. Brian already has his fists clenched.

"Then who was it?" He asked calmly.

"Brian, it was an accident. I swear to God." I pleaded.

"Accident or not, I want to know." He told me pointedly.

"We were just messing around, and Johnny-" Yep. Already cut off.

"JOHNNY?!" Brian yelled.

"Why in the fuck were you with Johnny, and why in the fuck did he give you a black eye!?" Brian roared.

Of course he didn't let me explain. Brian flew past me out of the room. I ran after him, calling out for him to stop.

It was pointless. Brian was already setting in his sights on Johnny.

Johnny looked up with giant eyes and immediately started running away from his friend. Brian took off after the short man, and I took off after Brian.

There was no surprise to me when Brian tackled Johnny's body to the hard ground. Johnny groaned as Brian rolled him onto his back. Brian was practically sitting on top of him.

"Brian! Brian, stop!" I yelled, trying to pull him off of his friend.

"Gates! It was a fucking accident!" Johnny yelled desperately.

Brian had his fist cocked back and ready to swing down on Johnny's face. I held onto his arm with both hands to stop him. Brian turned and glared at me.

"Sweetie, go sit down and let me deal with this." Brian snapped at me.

"No!" I yelled.

"Gates! Stop it man! We were all fucking drunk and short shit started to pass out while standing up. His elbow caught Kia in the face! Come on, man!" Jimmy yelled, yanking Brian off their friend.

I let out a sigh of relief. Johnny didn't take his eyes off of Brian while he got to his feet. Matt and Jimmy stood in front of Brian. Brian glared at me, then turned back to glare at his friends.

"Why was she with you assholes!" Brian yelled at his friends.

"Doesn't matter." Matt snarled.

"That helps." I snapped at Matt.

Matt rolled his eyes at me. I glanced over to see Zack and Juan smirking at the whole situation.

Fucking dicks.

"I invited her and Juan out. We all hung out at my place. Nothing happened except for Johnny being Johnny. He seriously didn't mean to, and he feels terrible for it." Jimmy explained slowly.

"You fucking knew I wanted to talk to her for a week! You knew that!" Brian growled at Jimmy.

"You're talking to her now." Matt smiled sarcastically.

Matt is anything but helpful in this situation. Goddamn.

"Brian, please? Can I finish talking now? I listened to you, didn't I?" I glared, feeling aggravated.

Brian cleared his throat a little, nodding slightly at his friends. Jimmy dusted off the dirt from Brian's shirt for him. I giggled quietly at the two of them.
