"you've lied to us and honestly you've ruined the colour blue for me"

the ending that should have happened
the ending where lawrence goes back for adam

"you're gonna be alright," lawrence tells adam

"you just wounded your shoulder.. i have to go and get help.. if i don't get help i'm going to bleed to death"

adam clung to lawrence tighter not wanting to let him go, adam knew that lawrence had to go but he didn't want him to, he didn't want to be left alone, not right now.

"don't leave me!" he cried as he held onto lawrence even tighter trying to make him stay just a little bit longer but it was no use "no!" he was yelling as he sobbed trying to grab onto lawrences wrist as the other man was crawling away "no! no!"

"don't worry" lawrence reassured him, "i'll bring someone back... i promise"

"lawrence!" adam yelled, lawrence looked back to him "we're going to be okay?" adam asked him

"i... i wouldn't lie to you"

with that adam watched as lawrence left him, but adam believed him.. he did, he really really did.. adam believed that they were going to be okay.. that lawrence would come back for him, to come to save him..

he would probably believe anything anyone told him right now.

_

adam doesn't know how long it has been, how long he's been in that bathroom since lawrence had left him since jigsaw had revealed himself and left him there in the dark to die, it could have just been a few hours or it could have been days adam didn't know. nor did it matter to him now anyway

but adam still held onto that hope that lawrence would come back for him like he said he would, he held onto hope that anyone at all would come to his rescue, but that was stupid of him to think, because who would want to come back for a person like him?

lawrence would he thought.. lawrence would come back for him, lawrence said he would come back for him and adam believed him, lawrence is a good person or adam thought he was, and he wouldn't lie to someone... he wouldn't lie to him..

and it stayed like this for however long it's been, however long he's been stuck in this prison.. longing for his shitty old life back, longing to be in his shitty apartment, longing to be with his cat (god knows how the poor thing must be like right now), and.. and longing for a man to keep his word, for lawerence to keep his word.. for him to come back for adam, to save him as he had promised..

and it did stay this way.. adam clinging on to whatever life he had left, whatever hope that still lingered in him, and the dawning realization that death may come before rescue weighed him.

but one day it changed.. adam had to no longer wait.. as he watched as the steel door was pulled open, adam let out a shaky breath afraid that it may be jigsaw finally coming to finish the job and kill him.. but no.. it wasn't jigsaw.. it was lawrence.. it was actually lawrence!

lawrence made his way over to the other with a limp, adam watched as he did look him up and down afraid that this might be a trick of the mind.

"a..are you.. you real?" adam asked as the other man bent down beside him.

"yes." lawrence confirms "i'm real.. i'm real adam"

adam feels tears prick at the corners of his eyes treating to spill any minute.

"fuck..ha" adam feels himself shake as he speaks, "you're actually here.. you actually came back.."

"yeah.. i'm here.." lawrence tells him as he lefts the other man up wrapping an arm around his waist so he could help adam walk.

adam looked to his shackled foot, it still remained around his foot but he wasn't chained anymore.. he was up he was moving more or less, as lawrence walked them to the exit.

lawrence stopped a moment as they finally made it out and looked at adam, and adam looked back at him..

"see?" lawrence says "i wouldn't lie to you"

adam just lays his head on the side of lawrences for a moment closing his eyes and clinging on to the other man not wanting to let go.. before mumbling,

"i know you wouldn't.."
