“now my life is sweet like cinnamon, like a fucking dream i'm livin it, baby love cause i'm playing on the radio”.

even after they had stopped the almost armageddon, and tricked heaven and hell and returned back to earth, crowley and aziraphale fell back into what they knew, aziraphal running his bookshop and crowley just being there with him, not so much interested in the books, but rather just being there with his angel, making sure aziraphale wasn’t harmed, in fear that heaven and hell would figure them out, and come for them and actually kill them this time.

crowley didn’t know what he would do if this ever occurred, he didn’t want this to happen to aziraphale, for heaven just to actually kill one of their own? It didn’t seem very heavenly like, but aziraphale, aziraphale was more than that, more of an angel than any of them would be..

crowley just had to be there because if this happens he wouldn't know what to do, feel overwhelming guilt that they had took is angel and he had not been there to stop them, to protect him?.. he had to be  there always for his sake and his angel’s

the angel rather enjoyed his presence, not knowing exactly why crowley was almost always over, but still he had enjoyed it, just to have someone there with him.

“dear?” aziraphale spoke

crowley replied to him with a 'hmm’

“would you like to the park or something?”

crowley raised up from where he was laying on the couch “yeah, we can go”

“oh thank you dear, much better than being cooped up here all day”

“yeah of course angel”

they then left the bookshop heading to the park

~~~'
as they arrived at the park they took their place at their normal bench. watching the people walk pass them
“would you like me to get you something from the cart angel”  crowley spoke waving his hand towards a food
“that would be lovely dear”
smiling at his angel crowley got up from their bench and headed towards the food cart to get aziraphale a sweet
aziraphale sat their on the bench with his closed waiting for the demon to return, he didn’t have to wait long as crowley was walking back towards him with a red ice lolly. Crowley took his place back beside aziraphale nudging him so that he would open his eyes
“angel i’m back, i’ve gotton you ice lolly” crowley spoke while handing over sweet to aziraphale
“oh thank you crowley dear, why didn’t you get yourself something?” aziraphale asked licking the sweet
crowley shrugged “ah you know me, not eating and all, and besides as long as i have gotten you one that’s all that matters is it not?”
“I suppose, but if you change you mind we can share mine, alright?”
crowley blushed intensely nodding his head “y-yeah got it angel..okay”
aziraphale laughed at him before speaking “here” he gestured to the sweet in his hand “try it”
crowley blushed more his entire face probably red as a tomato. he nodded his hand leaning forward tasting the ice lolly before sitting back.
“did it taste alright?” aziraphale questioned
crowley nodded his head again as he spoke, “y-yeah, tasted fine zira”
aziraphale nodded in understanding, “okay, okay good i’m glad”
crowley let out a ‘hmm’ in acknowledgement
“thank you for bringing me, or even suggested it, just we've been coped up in that bookshop forever, so thank you really”
“it really wasn't anything angel, but you're welcome”
aziraphale nodded sighing settling back into the bench looking forward and crowley did the same
they stayed like that for what felt like hours or atleast until it got dark, and they had to head on back to the bookshop.
