it's been ten years.. ten awful long years, since you have seen him last since he left.

but here you are now in the now rebuilt casita, after the celebration after everyone one was done and gone you were still here waiting for him.. longing to see him again.

you had heard that evening that bruno was back, that after ten years in hiding he had come back, and you just had to see, see if it was true.. oh how you wanted it to be true.

you've been waiting an awfully long time, and you were getting restless and about to leave till you were stopped in your tracks by his voice.. brunos voice..

"y/n.." it was spoken in such a whisper you almost didn't hear it, but you did you heard it you had- wanted to hear it.

you turn to look back at the man, a gasp catching in your throat, a wave of relief, anger, sadness and happiness flooded you all at once and you didn't know what to do or feel.

"bruno" your simple words filled with such longing, you couldn't believe it.. it was true tu amor was back, su bruno was back.

you get closer to him, placing a hand on his cheek, he places a hand over the one holding his face and leans into the touch having missed it.

you look him up and down as tears dared to fall down your face, you moved your hand from his face as you pulled him into a tight hug,  afraid if you let go that somehow this wouldn't be real and you'd wake up alone wishing it was real.

he hugged you back just as tight maybe afraid of the same thing, afraid he'd let go and you wouldn't be here.

"mi amor te he echado de menos" you whispered to him.

he just hugs you tighter, as you feel him begin to shake.

you pulled back slightly and looked at him concerned, it looked like he had been crying and still was you frowned taking his face back into your hands.

"bruno.."

"soy tan arrepentido," he tells you over and over again like he was a broken record.

you knew he was.. he didn't need to tell you, so you just pull him into a kiss, having wanting to kiss him forever. he was hesitant at first but he kissed you back his lips moving with yours.

you pull away and rest your forehead on his, eyes closed just wanting to take in his presence after not being in it for so long, you've missed it so.

"i'm sorry.. sorry i left- left you.. it's been so long, i- i wasn't helping anyone with my gift just upsetting them.. so i thought everyone would be better off without me... even you.. lo siento"

"i don't care about your gift! i know it doesn't make bad things happen and i know you can't control it! why would you think.. think that something like that would make me better off without you.."

the tears now streamed down your cheeks unable to stop them.

"i wasn't better off without you- i needed you, i loved... love you"

he just looked at you shock on his face, til it lights up slightly and he pulls you into another hug.

"te quiero también! i always have"

"i always have too.." you tell him "are.. are you gonna stay?" you asked hesitatingly afraid he might say he isn't.

"please don't leave- don't leave me again" you finally blurt out.

he just looks at you with a sad smile surprised you'd think he'd leave again after he just got you back.

"mi amor no te dejaré.. not again.. i promise" he tells you as he kissed you gently.

"yeah?" you say after he pulls away.

"yeah.."

you just smiled to yourself, just glad that your bruno was back.. back with you and after so long you were back together again.
