The Shart Chronicles

Lunch pt. 2 *Dessert*

Delilah was rubbing their stomach and let out a small burp.

When Tom came over to collect the empty bowl they said "that was so good Tom, thank you"

"I'm glad you liked it" Tom said "also," he said leaning in a bit closer "I have a top secret dessert that I'm working on. Would you like to try it and tell me how it tastes?"

"Yes of course!" Delilah said brightly

Tom went to the back with the dirty dishes and a few minutes later returned with a plate topped with what looked to be a brownie

"Eat a bit, and then I'll tell you what the secret ingredient is" he said with a wink

"So it's a brownie?" Delilah asked picking at the dessert

Tom merely shrugged and walked away

Delilah tried a piece. It was amazing. The softness and cushiness of the brownie melted on their tongue. They are the whole think in like two minutes

Tom walked over to them

"so did you like it?" He asked eagerly

"It was the best thing I've ever had" Delilah answered

"Do you want to know what the secret ingredient is?" He whispered

"Yes of course"

"Shart" he said smugly

"Really?" Delilah looked straight into his eyes "you're not kidding?"

"Nope." Tom said

"That was the most utterly delicious yummy tasty melt in your mouth delectable shart brownie I have ever had."

"Thank you" Tom said with tears in his eyes at Delilah's proclamation.

"So who's shart is it?" Delilah asked

"Cant say, not yet. They asked me to keep it a secret."

"Oh" Delilah said a bit disappointed

"Don't worry miss, you'll find out eventually, especially since I'm asking to hire you as my honourary  taste tester!"

"Really? Oh my this is really the best day of my life!" Delilah exclaimed

They hugged Tom

"Thanks Tom"
