WHEN WE MET HER

CHAPTER 7

Everything was back to normal. I wonder if someone already reported that I knew what they're doing. Sabotaging my mission, huh? They will never win over us

I've been getting so many calls from so many clients since last last day. It's unusual but this benefit the company so much. My salary also got high and I really don't know why since sir Jake wasn't talking about it

Sinabi ko na rin sa kaniya ang lahat pero ayaw niyang maniwala so hinayaan ko nalang din. Ayaw niyang maniwala kasi wala raw akong lead and hindi raw ako sigurado kung sino talaga ang totoong gumawa n'on sa kaniya

"Ms. Martinez?" napatayo ako ng tumawag siya, gamit ang device para makapag-communicate siya sa'kin

"Yes sir? Do you need something?" I asked as soon as I entered his office

He slowly face me and smile like a child. Is he possessed? "Can you... buy me an ice cream?"

I laughed a bit. Napasimangot siya. Nagpabunot kasi siya ng ngipin kanina pagkatapos namin umattend sa unang meeting niya ngayong umaga

Bumili ako ng malaking ice cream para makapag-share kami sa iba at cones na rin. Again, he smiled at me like what he did earlier. He's being weird today, I'm gettinf convince that he's possessed

"You're so mean! I'm still the boss here, you can't just stand there and look at me like that. I'm not possessed okay?"

Nag-okay sign ako sa kaniya bago lumabas ng office. Kumain din kami ng mga ka-office mate ko ng ice cream na binili ko. They're happy with that. Is it the first time they got treated?

Maaga akong naka-tapos sa mga gawain ko pero hinihintay ko pa ring matapos si sir Jake para alam at sigurado akong hindi siya mapapahamak ulit. Karia told me if something happen to him again I'll be responsible

Of course, that will be another punishment or maybe another mission for me. Bruh, I'm telling you mission isn't that easy. Some took years to accomplish everything

Halos makatulog na ako sa upuan kakahintay sa kaniya. Watching music videos help me stay awake. It's almost midnight and we're still here, nag-iinspect na nga yung guard pero hindi ko na siya pinapasok since nandito pa si sir

"Ms. Martinez! Hey, wake up or I'll leave you here! Ms. Martinez? Hey!" I heard someone waking me up. It took me minute to realize. I'm still at the office and it's almost 3AM

"Oh, yeah. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep"

Ngumiti lang siya sa akin bago dinala ang gamit ko. Wala akong nagawa kung hindi kunin ang phone ko at sumunod sa kaniya. Hindi ako sure kung may masasakyan pa ako ng ganitong oras dahil kaunti lang ang mga dumadaang sasakyan dito kapag ganitong oras

Nag-panic ako na hindi ko man lang nakuha yung bag ko na hawak ni sir. Nasa gate na kami ng ibigay niya. He's laughing. Do I look funny or stupid right now?

"I'll take you home. My driver go home early for his family, I have the keys" he said in soft tone while trying to open the door of his car

Hindi na ako umangal. Baka wala akong masakyan at abutin pa ako ng holdup time sa labas. Uso pa naman 'yon ngayon. Never naman naging safe rito

Mediyo malayo pa ang condo namin dito, mas malayo nga lang ang bahay nila. He can just drop me off. I didn't expect him to get out of his car and escort me. I'm not drunk, I know where I am

"There's no need sir, I can take care od myself" I told him but he act like he didn't hear me

"What do you mean?"
