WHEN WE MET HER

CHAPTER 33

Habang nasa LA kami, sila madalas ang nagkikita. Naiiwan ako sa hotel room kasi ayaw niyang nau-uncomfy ako dahil nga kay Ms. Coltre, or Diana Rotten Coltre.

Business partner nila Jake ang daddy niya kaya noon pa man ay close na sila. Siya rin yung babae before na sinasabing girlfriend daw ni Jake. It turns out, she's not.

"You let him go out with her? And he's not home yet? The hell is wrong with you girl" malakas na sigaw ni Camille sa'kin. I'm talking to them kasi hindi kami nagkausap kahapon

"I trust him"

"You trust him, huh? Let's see then. We're just concerned about you, Rhaine" sabat ni Alex

I don't know. Hindi naman siguro niya gagawin 'yon diba? He won't cheat on me? Yes. He won't do that

It's almost 2AM here at siguro sa Pilipinas ay gabi na rin mga around 7 or 8. They're free kasi wala silang work sa gabi. We only have one day left, kakayanin ko naman siguro

Napatingin ako sa pintuan ng biglang magbukas 'yon. Nakita ko si Diana na buhat ni Jake. Natulala ako sa kanilang dalawa at hindi agad nakapagsalita. I'm.. okay

"W-What happened?" I asked, my voice almost crack. I'm allowed to feel this way, right? He's mine..

"I told her not to drink a lot but she still did. Malayo pa unit niya kaya rito ko muna siya dinala. Is that... fine with you"

I looked at him with teary eyes. How can I say no? Simula halos n'ong nakilala ko siya, parang naging sira ako. I'm not sure why. And why am I suddenly feeling this way towards him. Was it because I'm jealous?

"Y-Yes. That's fine. I'll sleep na rin"

He suddenly hugged me from behind and kissed my cheeks. Hindi siya amoy alak, hindi siguro siya naginom

"Are you mad? Ipapasundo ko siya if you're not fine with it"

"I said, I'm fine, Jake. I'm just tired"

"Hmm? Really? I'll massage you nalang!"

"No. I'll prepare pa for our flight tomorrow"

Tinanggal ko ang pagkakayakap niya sa'kin bago naglakad patungo sa k'warto ko. Sobrang hirap tuloy matulog. I don't want to think about him pero wala akong magawa kun'di magpaulit-ulit ng mga gawa-gawang scenarios sa isip ko

Wala na sila ng magising ako. Jake left a breakfast at the kitchen. May note pa 'yon na kasama pero hindi ko rin naman pinansin at nagluto nalang ng noodles

'HELLO, LOVEE♡ GOODMORNING. I'M OFF TO MEET MR. AND MRS. COLTRE. I LEAVE A BREAKFAST SINCE I DIDN'T WANT TO WAKE YOU UP. I LOVE YOU, MAHAL! SEE YOU LATER. I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY'

Nag-shopping ako para sa pasalubong. He'll probably be home at noon kaya sinulit ko nalang ang oras kasama sila Camille, through facetime. Nakakainis lang. We planned to go together kaso busy pala siya

I was about to leave a message kina Camille kasi I need to pay na yung mga clothes na nabili ko when someone called. It's Jake. Always.

"Where are you?"

"Nasa mall"

"Can I go there?"

"You're busy..."

I heard him sigh at the background. "I'll be there. I love you"

I waited for him at the clothing shop. He's wearing a suit and is smiling while approaching me. I leaned towards him to give him a hug but he kissed me instead
