We arrived home and I had walked in with Drew inside. He hold my hand before we had walked through the door to the living room. Just when I had walked in I see everyone here actually except for Daniel and Violet.
"What's the emergency?" I asked them.
"There is no emergency," my respond. She stand up from the table to walk over to me.
"Chris why'd you call saying there's an emergency?"
"How else would I be able to get you to come home," My mom questioned me. This is stupid it's probably that same reason she tried to talked me into earlier.
"I'm leaving again," I try to turn around to leave but Drew end up holding on to me to stop me.
"Drew I thought you told me you'd break up with her?"
"Mom get over it," Chris finally speak up putting his phone away.
"How are you so calm about this Chris?"
"Oh yeah I knew they were dating, I just can't believe you didn't notice all this time."
Shoot how did he figure that out? Well it doesn't matter now anyways because everyone knows now.
"Are you serious? Why didn't you come and say me anything?"
"This is why," Chris says pointing at my mom.
"Why what?"
"You over reacting," Chris says.
"I'm not over reacting, I just don't think it's not a good idea for her right now."
"Honey, come have a seat," Bert pull my moms hand having her take a seat on the couch next to him.
"This is a serious matter you two, I don't understand why you taken this so lightly."
"Alright but they are only dating. Give them a chance and I'm sure they are happy being together. Drew is a good kid, I can't think of anyone better for Jade than him."
"Oh and I also told Drew he could date Jade so it's fine."
"You told him what?!" My mom screamed on top of her lungs hearing what Chris just said. This is a shocking to me. I look up at Drew standing next to me. I didn't think I'd hear this part. Why didn't Drew tell me Chris talked to him?
"It's fine relax, I trust Drew," Chris said.
"Me too," Bert speaks out. It's nice seeing Chris and Bert are standing up for me. I'm feeling a bit hopeful now about all of this. I just hope my mom give up her way of thinking all of this soon.
Drew let go of me and walk over to my mom. I wait and see what his about to do because I'm confused. He quickly got got down on both of his knees shocking leaving everyone in the room speechless.
"Mrs. Miller, please I'll take care of her. I'm in love with her," Drew says kneeling in front of my mom and Bert. This is crazy I didn't think he'd do that again.
"Ugh," my mom pulling away from Bert and getting up from where she was sitting. She walks to her room shutting her bedroom doors.
"Honey," Bert says running after my mom to their room.
I still can't believe my mom is being like this. It's really sad for me knowing she won't allow this to happen. I walk over to Drew grabbing his hand helping him stand up from where he was kneeling in front of my mother.
"Hey Drew," Chris call him.
"Yeah?"
"I hope you keep your words," Chris says and he got up and walk away to head upstairs. Drew and I ended smiling at each other after Chris left. I still can't believe Drew is mine now. At least I hope my mom can get over it soon. It's great to know Chris and Bert is being really supportive about it. I just hope Daniel and my mom follow up soon too but other than that Drew is mine.
Drew gave me a hug which I so needed after all of this right now. We hugged each other tighter till he placed a kiss on my forehead. We break the hug but I really want to know if he wants to stay a bit longer with me.
"Wanna stay a little longer with me," I asked him.
"I still have to get to my grandmother, she called me on the way here I think she's still expecting to see me soon."
"Oh right I forgot. Drive safe and be careful," he kissed me on the lips this time. It's so hard to just let him go yet. I understand he wants to spend more time with his grandmother. It's still saddens me to know all the bad things going in Drew's life.
"Its been a long day, go get some sleep," Drew says as we letting go of each other.
"Alright," we kissed again.
"Love you," Drew says and start heading out.
"I love you too."
Drew gave me a quick wink before he closes the front door on his way out and oh my god I have never been so excited. That sexy wink I'll be thinking about it all night and gosh I don't know what to do right now. I know his gone but my cheeks are burning hot. I'm smiling so much right now my cheeks are actually hurting.
I hurried upstairs still with a huge smile on my face. I feel so lucky right now to have Drew. Right when I got upstairs I saw Chris in the hallway getting out of his bedroom. He must be going out or something.
"Hey," I called him.
"Hey," he says. He suddenly looks weirded out around me almost like everything is awkward.
"Um. . .thanks by the way," I tell him.
"For?"
"For standing up for me back there and thanks for agreeing with all of this between Drew and I and I know it probably wasn't easy but thank you again it means a lot."
"Of course," he says giving me a smile. He then walk closer to me.
"I'm going out but you be good, and come back home this time." Chris pats my head then walks away.
I know Violet is in my room right now and it probably won't be nice seeing her after what happened between us although it was never nice seeing Violet in any day to begin with. I don't think she'll get over her crush for Drew still but what am I suppose to do about it? It might go away anyway.
Feeling nervous to see Violet, I opened the door and saw her head stuck in some kind of book. Is there even a point greeting her she probably won't even respond. She finally looks up from what she was reading noticing me. I closed the door behind me then she ignored my presence and go back to reading her book. She went and put her headphones on.
Well now that clears the problem I was fearing, no need to talk to her. This bedroom is a bit intense at the moment for me. I decided to grab some clothes in my drawer and head to the bathroom. I'm really hoping all this feud will end soon between Daniel and Drew. Then between my mom and I along with Drew. We can't all continue like this.
