A few days later, Drew invited me to his grandmother's house which he now owns. Drew and his mom are starting to settling in their house. When arrived I parked next to Drew's car in this huge driveway. I noticed Drew opens the door to his car.
I can't believe his waiting in his car for me instead of the house. I hurried and grabbed my bag and the flowers I brought for them.
"What's this?" Drew ask as soon as he noticed the flowers in my hand when I get out of my car.
"It's for you and your mom, mostly your mom. It's a welcome to your new home kinda gift." I tell him.
"You brought my mom a gift, not me then." Drew giving me a sad pouty face.
"I did bring you something else specially for you." I push myself onto him.
"I'm liking where this is going so far, go on." Drew says waiting to see my next move. I put the flowers on top of my front end of my car. I tiptoed and kissed him. I had forgotten I was chewing a gum, but Drew is already kissing me back. I try hiding it then pull away from our kiss a little. I flattened the gum with my tongue. When Drew comes to kiss me again I went a blow a bubble in his mouth until it popped. Some my gum is in his mouth.
Drew went looked shocked for a moment not understanding what I just did.
"Is that gum?" He asked.
"Yes," I laughed at how confused he looks right now.
"Mmm strawberry flavor," Drew say with some of my gum still in his mouth.
"Yeah."
"I will get you for this, come on I have something I wanted to show you." Drew takes my hand and we walked inside to the house. When I walked inside this beautiful house it takes my breath away just like the last time I had seen it.
"I never got the chance to tell her that her house is beautiful."
"I'm sure she'd love hearing that especially coming from you." Drew says.
"Drew?" I hear Drew's mother called him from the kitchen.
"Yes mom." Drew answered. We walked into the large leaving room then into the kitchen to get to Drew's mom.
"Jade it's nice seeing you." Linda says seeing me walked in the kitchen with Drew.
"Nice seeing you too, I brought you some fresh flowers."
"Aw Jade Thank you, I was not expecting flowers today." She takes the flowers from and grabbed glass vase to them in.
"Mom, I'll be back I have to show Jade something." Drew says alrighty pulling me to come with him.
"Wait wait wait, I wanted to ask you something." Linda stopped us.
"What?"
"Are you sure you still don't want the master bedroom, it's your house and I think you deserve it."
"Mom I told you, it's for you. I don't want that room. I want you to have it."
That's really nice of Drew for letting his mom take the master bedroom instead. His so considerate and I feel like I am just fall in love with him all over again.
"Alright come here then, I gotta give you a hug for this." Linda spread out her arms waiting for Drew to come and hug.
"Mom, it's not a big deal," Drew says. I can sense him being awkward with the way his mom is acting right now.
"Go hug her she's waiting." I pushed him towards his mom. I watched Drew and his mom for moment. I kinda like this little happy ending they are having right now and seeing Drew and mom like this makes me happy for them.
