It's Saturday, around midday I checked I finally decided to get up. I noticed Violet isn't in the room. I checked my phone and got a couple text one is from Drew. ITS ABOUT 3 notifications from Drew.
GOOD MORNING
YOU STILL A SLEEP, I'M DOWNSTAIRS
SEE YOU LATER, COULDN'T GET INTO YOUR ROOM TO WAKE YOU UP.
Oh man, Drew was here and I missed it. I feel like I was knocked out from this sleep. Just as I'm about to get up Violet walks in the room.
"Oh look who's finally awake." Violet says.
"It's the weekend and I should be allowed to sleep in."
"Hey you missed it though."
"Missed what?"
"Well it was kind of sudden but I kissed Drew today. Well we kissed, I told him I liked him he seemed kinda shy then just said he was coming back."
I don't know if I'm hearing Violet right at the moment. I really have no words also.
"What?" I ask her again.
"Drew and I kissed." Violet says in a happy tone. I really can't hear this right now. I feel like shit right now. I should of never got myself into this right now. Of course he wouldn't date me right now and would go for Violet and god I'm so stupid.
"Oh it's what you wanted but um alright, I should get to the bathroom."
"Oh come on, you didn't even let me finished."
"I really have to go nature is calling when it's calling." I tell her. I can't hear this any longer. This really suck and I can't believe Drew haven't tell me. I head inside the bathroom and lock the door. I checked to see if he sent me something else but he didn't. I put my phone on the sink and start taken my clothes to take a shower.
What is wrong me?
Later I head downstairs and noticed mom is there with Bert. Bert is standing right next to my mom.
"Oh look who finally woke up." My mom said.
"It's the weekend, I think I'm allowed to sleep in." I say to them. I go to the kitchen and grabbed one of my smoothies.
"Hey, you seen Violet this morning?" Bert ask.
"She seems happy, it's all I don't know why or Did Drew finally opened to her. She was with Drew."
Oh my god. I can't take this longer. "Mom, I'll be at Lizzie's house." I tell them.
"No, no, I want you in on this. How about you go and see what happened between them two for us. If possible we can have a little get together before your big sister leaves tomorrow."
"What?" I'm really confused at this point.
"Go on, go see what happened with Violet for us."
"First of all, I don't care and no Violet, isn't my big sister and I don't have one and it's only according to your stupid marriage laws she's my stepsister oh and wait, If you weren't married at all maybe I would not be in this mess I'm in. Thanks for ruining everything for me."
"Jade?!" My mom yelled my name. I turned around and turn to leave. "I thought we all got over all that it's been 5 years now. Jade, get back here!"
I stopped in the middle on my way out. I turned around not actually walking back.
"What's gotten into you? Why you like this all of a sudden?" She ask.
"I'm not in the mood to talk to any of you right now. Lizzie has been dealing with some stuff. I have to get to her." I tell them and left.
Walking to Lizzie's house, I looked over to Drews house across the street and his car is parked on the driveway. This is so annoying why do both of us had to like him at the same time.
I ring Lizzie's doorbell then her mom answered.
"Hi, Jade Lizzie's upstairs."
"Hi, Mrs. Allen."
Mrs. Allen is one of those mothers that works a lot. She's not home very often since she's a very popular lawyer in this town. As for Lizzie's dad he may or may not be as busy. At one point while growing up with Lizzie he stayed home as a stay home dad. Lizzie tends to feel lonely sometimes and stays with my family for a while. My family and I have taken Lizzie to our family Vacations often.
I walked upstairs to her bedroom then knock and no one answered. "Lizzie?" I call her. I knock again then the she opens the door.
"Hey is everything okay?" I asked her.
"I'm okay." She says.
"I didn't hear from you I came to check in."
I walked in her room and sit on the bed instead.
"I'm okay." She slouch onto the bed next to me.
"Can you please tell me what happened yesterday?"
"Fine, he just so mean to me."
"Oh my god, what did he say?"
"It's whatever really. I don't want to talk about it much."
"I want to know."
"He was just mean, I'll deal with it on my own it doesn't matter anyway." Lizzie say.
"Do you still like him?" I ask her.
". . . . Is it bad I'm going to say yes I still like him?"
"No, just um why? Daniel is a complete jerk and I know his brother but there's plenty of other people to date."
"Its just I like him I always did."
My phone suddenly starts ringing in the middle of our conversation. I checked and see it's Drew calling me. I know I'm not picking that up.
"Are you picking that up." Lizzie ask me. I look at my phone again and turn the volume down.
"Enough boys for today wanna go get ice cream." I ask her.
"That sounds good but um why aren't you picking up his phone calls." Lizzie ask.
"I'm annoyed right now I'm annoyed with everyone in my house right now."
"Why?"
"So Violet came to me when I woke up and was like she and Drew kissed. Then my mom and Bert keeps talking about Violet and Drew together."
"Could she maybe be lying?" Lizzie ask.
"I don't know."
"Well since you want to date such a much older man. I'd say to show him that you're really matured go up to him and ask him what happened don't just hide from him and not pick up his calls. Mature woman do not do that." Lizzie smile at me.
"Ugh why do I feel like you're right and deep down I also feel offended."
"That's what I'm here for."
"Ugh fine, I'll go up to him."
"Go now."
"No, maybe later."
"No now, like right now right now."
"I don't want to get caught being at his house. I mean what if I go to his house and Chris or Daniel suspect us again. Chris suspected us last night when he gave me his jacket because I was cold outside."
"Text him tell him to meet you somewhere in about 15 minutes."
I grabbed my phone and text Drew.
