We had left the suburbs, Drew continued driving without using his GPS. He seems confident he knows where his going. We haven't exactly talked on the way either so I ended up falling asleep in the car.Later I felt a tap on my shoulder. I opened my eyes and saw what seemed like a small town. I noticed he parked somewhere on a hill as we looking down the little town.
"It's beautiful up here."
"Yeah, you like it?" He ask.
"Yeah I love it, I didn't know such place like this exist." I tell him.
"It does, I use to come here with my dad as a kid."
I can't believe Drew is sharing something valuable like that with me. Drew use to have a dad until he died from a stroke about 10 years ago. We don't talk about it much. It's kinda of a sensitive topic for him."It's really nice here and thank you for showing me this, it means a lot." I kissed his cheeks.
"There's an arcade here also, do you want to go check it out?"
"Yeah, let's go." Drew gets out of the car as I take off my seatbelt then I noticed Drew come to the passenger seat to open the door for me. His such a gentleman I swear.
I go around and walk with Drew in this small town. There's so much to see and there's about 3 restaurants in the town and there's also a bakery and a 1 grocery store.
"I think if they want other things they go out of their small towns to get other supplies but I'm sure everyone here knows each other." Drew says as we walking around this small town.
"It's so small but it has it perks too." I tell Drew.
We walked around a bit more then we reached the arcade area. It's pretty spacious and big. There's no wait to try out a game it seems there's only the two of us here in the arcade along with the person that works here.
"What do you want to try out first?"
"Let's try this one." I tell him.
We go around trying all the different games they have. We played basketball, different rolling ball. We tried winning as much as tickets as possible and honestly Drew is a beast when it comes to these games. His actually really good and better than me. Thinking about this now all of this are memories I'm making with Drew. This is like our second time we actually went out to go have fun and because it's so hard for us to find time together alone.
All this fun I've been having almost made me feel guilty for not inviting Lizzie with me then again I'm sure she'd hate to be a third-wheel.
"So how many tickets have you gotten?" Drew ask me after we counted them all.
"798." I said.
"That's so many oh my god." He says.
"Really?" I asked.
"Nah, I have 13,564." I punched his arms for making me think I have a lot.
"You should get something."
"What are going to get?" Drew ask me
"I can't get much except for candies which one piece is 250 tickets." I tell him.
"What did you want to get."
"His so fluffy this big bear." I tell him. I would love to cuddle this thing at night.
"Well that's what I wanted to get. It's too bad, it's 12,000 you can't get it." Drew says.
"Whatever maybe another time."
