" Be aware as watchful eyes are in the air. "

"Hey! New kid!" Someone called from afar and Aru's head jerked towards the voice. Beomgyu however remained oblivious and she patted his arm, pointing at the approaching student. It was Jisung and he was walking forward with full force. Aru couldn't help but gulp at the sight of him as she knew Beomgyu bumped into him purposely.

Beomgyu was calm, opposite from Aru but his eyes were glaring at him as he remembered how he treated Aru before. The boy didn't at all enjoy his presence. Aru readied herself as she tried to find words to defend Beomgyu but luckily, it wasn't what she expected.

When Jisung was finally closer to them, his lips curved upward into a smile as if what happened before never happened. "Hey! Do you know how to play basketball?" He asked innocently.

Aru's eyes widened at that but sighed quietly in relief, glad that Jisung wasn't mad. It would be better if Jisung didn't know that Beomgyu bumped into him on purpose.

"No. I don't." Beomgyu coldly answered as he slipped his hands into his pockets.

"Oh! It's alright, we can teach you. Our PE class will start in 10 minutes. You guys need to change your clothes." He reminded them before leaving with a wave.

Aru then finally remembered that Jisung was their representative for PE class. He was the most active person in class and their PE teacher was so fond of him that he chose him to be the one in charge of taking care of his classmates and motivating them during PE.

As usual, he did his rounds, making sure everyone was ready for the class and of course he would make sure the new student was active in his favourite sport. If he was lucky, he might be able to find another member for his basketball club.

"You don't know how to play basketball?" Aru curiously asked as her eyes stared at Beomgyu.

"No. I never tried it. I read about it and it seems fun." Beomgyu answered genuinely, his tone different from before when he was answering Jisung.

"You can try it today then. Jisung is a good coach. He was in this sport for a long time and he can be called a master by now." She shared the story as she thought that Beomgyu might want to know more about his classmate.

Beomgyu scoffed at that, rolling his eyes. "Sure...he is a master." He said sarcastically and Aru frowned at that, never expecting it to come from him.

"Why? What's wrong?" She asked but Beomgyu shook his head, refusing to answer. "Oh come on! Tell me!" Her whiny voice was heard in the empty hallway followed by Beomgyu's soft chuckle. They then walked their way back to class to prepare for their PE.
