The bell rang and resonated throughout the school to tell the students their lunch hour had begun. All students stood up and bowed to the teachers before exiting their class. Chatters filled the air and chaos started, especially in this one specific class.
"Taehyun!!! I made this lunch for you with all my heart!! Please take it!!"
"Taehyun!!! Try out this chocolate cookie I made for you!!!"
Girls started piling up and surrounding Taehyun like a colony of ants that had found something sweet. All of them were shoving their self-made foods — which are filled with their so-called, love for Taehyun. It happens all the time and Taehyun got used to it but it got worst over time, and now they are touching him. Feeling disgusted, he tried to run off but they were blocking his way. He turned around to ask for help from his friends but got shocked instead.
"Aru!! Take my love!!" A guy confessed to Aru as he kneeled on the floor, thinking he impressed her.
"No!! She is mine!!!" Another guy cut in and protested. The boys started grouping up and arguments getting louder and louder.
"B-but I am no one's." Aru's voice came out tiny in between the chaotic arguments. It's like cats grouped up together to fight over who was going to eat the little white mice. Taehyun glared at those hungry men and he wanted to gore their eyes out but he couldn't because of the ants surrounding him.
He thought, "I am sure Huening can help us." He turned to the side where Kai was and once again he felt helpless.
"NO!! BABY KAI IS EATING WITH US!!" A girl shouted, clinging onto Kai's right arm. A group of girls behind nodded their heads in unison, agreeing with what she had said.
"EW!! WHO ARE YOU CALLING BABY?! Bro Kai, you're eating with us right? You don't belong with those bitches." A guy snapped as he grabbed Kai's left arm roughly and pulled him over. The boys as well grouped behind him and pointed their inappropriate fingers at the girls.
"Guys, guys settle down. I know I am famous but I have the right to choose who I am going to have lunch with, right?" Kai asked, expecting them to agree with him. It took one's dumb mind to ask that question to desperate lions and lionesses.
"NO!!" All of them shouted in unison. Kai tried to laugh it off but he was crying on the inside. His stomach growled, telling him that he was starving but how will he eat when he's stuck in this crowd? Through the chaos, Kai's eyes landed on Taehyun who was wearing a shocked expression. Kai then dramatically reached out his hand and said, "save me" in a deep voice.
Taehyun's expression turned into an emotionless one and he looked away from Kai, pretending he never heard his call for help. Kai gasped dramatically, feeling betrayed by his own best friend but he was brought back to reality when the girl and the boy started pulling his arms.
