" No matter how caged it is, the heart beats with its might. "

The sky was bright blue, shined by the mighty sun. Fluffy clouds floated in the air and birds soared below it. Though it was bright, it wasn't really hot. Beomgyu enjoyed the breeze as he walked down the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets. A chuckle left his lips when he remembered how Aru acted before.

"Can't I stay here?"

Her eyes widened. "What? Why would you?"

He leaned in, causing her to back away. He stared into her eyes before answering, "I wanna be with you longer. How about I stay here for the night?" His lips curved upward into a smirk.

Her eyes slowly widened and her cheeks flushed red. "Are you crazy!" she shrieked and slapped his arm.

He laughed out loud, satisfied with the reaction he got out of her.

Beomgyu chuckled once again. "In the end, I have to leave." he pouted as he wished he could really spend the night there. Now, he had no choice but to look for Yeonjun. It had been years and he was not sure if Yeonjun still lived there but it could be a start to look at the house he first knew.

After passing a few busy streets, he finally reached the street that led to Yeonjun's house. He walked, eyes wandering around to catch the familiar exterior of a house. The first, second and the third one was the house he knew. He was very sure of it but what made him frown was the sign on the gate. "House for sale?" he questioned.

"Hey, young man! Do you wish to buy the house?" said someone from behind. Beomgyu turned around to see who it was and it was an old woman with a broomstick.

"Uh... No actually. I am looking for the person who once lived here. Do you know where he went?" he asked politely.

"Oh, you mean Yeonjun? He's the owner. You can just call him with that number there." she said before pointing at the sign and Beomgyu looked at it once again. Reading the number, he rubbed his nape before smiling at the old woman.

"Can I borrow your phone, ma'am? I don't have a phone right now," he said, feeling slightly embarrassed.

"Of course! Here you go." She took out her phone from her pocket and passed it to Beomgyu. He stared at the phone for a few seconds, trying to remember how to call. Then he remembered the time when Yeonjun called someone beside him and he knew exactly how to do it. He then proceeded to dial the numbers and pressed the call icon. The phone started buzzing and after a few seconds passed, it stopped and was replaced with a familiar voice.

"Oh, granny! How are you? What brings you to call me?"

"Hyung, it's me," Beomgyu said. There was a long silence after that as if the call disconnected but it was still ongoing.
