The new girl in the gang

Part 24

Peps POV

I had fun at the movie theater until the drive home. Bob gets out of the car to jump Johnny, I run in front, "it wasn't him, it was socs." I say, Johnny takes off running, Bob raises his hand and slaps me, "Penelope, I didn't mean to." He says, the issue is I've got to know Bob better and know he has anger issues. "No more jumping greasers, hot it?" I know I'm risking getting yelled at, but I think he has feeling for me to. "Ok." I walk to my side of the car and get in. He starts the car and we drive home in silence.

When we get back I see Liv asleep on the couch, I put a blanket over her, it's really late for a school night so I go upstairs and go to sleep. "Penelope get up." Bob says coming in to wake me, "you got to get up for school." I slowly get out of bed, I feel so tired even though I slept really well. "I'm up, I'm up." I say as I get ready, when I go to the bathroom, I apply makeup to the bruise on my cheek, when I walk down stairs, Liv is holding some water out to me, "want som.." the water tiles and hit me in the face and dipped on my neck. "It's fine." I say and dry myself off, I didn't think much of it.

I was so tired I fell asleep during math, "Penelope, Penelope." My math teacher says, "what's the answer?" I look at the board, "190." I answer, "nice job." He goes on, the thing is I'm actually kinda smart but I don't care enough to work hard.

During English, Pony gave me this sad stare, Johnny and Liv flirted which made my stomach turn, "hey Penelope." Liv says getting my attention, "let's go the movies on Friday." I nod and go back to my day dream.

On Friday me and Liv get ice cream and hang out before going to the movies, she forgot to tell me that Johnny and his gang were going to be here. My makeup rubbed off throughout the day so my big bruise is clearly viable. "Wait isn't Bob going?" I ask Liv, when we meet up with Johnny, "Yeah, Johnny and me are official now so Bob has to meet him. He said he's bringing his gang." Liv is so stupid sometimes.

"Liv, they are greasers." She looks confused "yeah and?" "Bob hates greasers." I say, do I need to spell this out for her? "Well he's not my dad, he needs to meet them. And beside Bob is only going to be there in the beginning, then he's leaving." She says as if this is nothing, I'm about to be in between my old life and my new life.

Johnny looks at me, I almost can't breathe. "Liv, I'm going to find Bob and take him home." I say once we get there, "he needs to meet him." Johnny looks nervous. I look all over for Bob and find him sitting alone in his mustang, "Hey Bob want to go home and watch a movie there?" I say, he smiles at me, "I will soon, I have to go meet Liv and her boyfriend." He says as I slide in the car, "how about we stay here for awhile?" He smiles and nods, then he dose the yawning trick and puts his arm around me.

The movie was boring, but I was hoping Johnny and the gang left by the end, why in the world would Johnny want to meet Bob? "Let's go." Bob says getting out of the car, "wait could you get me popcorn?" I ask he looks at me then says, "yes, but then we got to go find Liv." I nod and slide out of the car, "you go I'll find her and wait for you there." He nods and walks off.

I run off to see Liv sitting with Johnny, it looks like the rest of the gang is gone, "Liv, Bobs coming." She looks clam then, scared, "Johnny, Bob going to kill you, you better leave quickly." Johnny looks like he knew this all along, "are you still coming tomorrow?" Johnny asks Liv, "yeah me and Penelope will be there." He smiles and runs off just as Bob comes back, "where's you boy?" Bob asks handing me popcorn, "he had to leave, something about his sister being jumped." Liv says then turns her attention to the movie, Bob sits down and put his arm around me.

The next day Liv wakes me, "Penelope, come on we got to go." I sit up, "where?" "It's a surprise." Liv says with her eyes wide. "Ok." I sigh and get dressed, my bruise is healing so I don't put makeup on it.

Johnny's POV

Liv wanted me to meet her brother, I wanted to check on Penelope, we watch the movie, don't think I'm using Liv I'm not I actually like her. Penelope I will always care for.

Liv was coming to the gangs today, Penelope was coming today she just doesn't know yet. "Guys come on clean up." I say as Soda sitting down, I'm trying to get the house picked up today so it's not the normal mess.

Dally comes in later, "their coming, Penelope's blindfolded." He yells as the boys run downstairs, no ones really seen her except me and Pony. They are all excited, soon the front door opens, "hey guys." Liv says as I run over to her, "Liv where are we?" Penelope says, she wearing a dress which most the gang has never seen her wear before. "Liv, Bob will kill us, can we go?" Penelope says as she starts back out the door, she still has her blindfold on, "you don't even know where we are." Liv says as she grabs Penelope, she pulls the blindfold off, "this is my boyfriends house." Liv says excitedly pulling me closer, Penelope looks scared then she looks excited, "hi I'm Penelope." She says as if she doesn't know us,  "I've seen you around school, Ponyboy is it?" Pony nods.

We all sit down while Darry cooks, Two turns on Mickey, and we all watch me and Liv sit right next to each other. Soon Dally asks, "Penelope want to go on a walk?" Penelope looks shocked, "sure, I'll be back Liv." She says standing up, they walk out the door.

As soon as they leave I see the gang smile, this was the plan all along.

Peps POV

"If I get caught with you guys I'm in trouble." I say as we are walking down the porch. "You wont, we made sure of that." Daly says over confidently, "so you guys planes this whole thing?" He nods while smiling, "you cut your beautiful hair!" "He made me, and if you want to know the truth I think I look hotter this way." I laugh, Dally looks embarrassed, "listen I didn't notice you because I thought..." I interrupt him, "it's fine, I really didn't give you a chance." He nods, I knew he was talking about the movie theater, "oh sh*t!" I say, we were at the park by now and a mustang comes over the corner. I duck and it flue right by, "it's probably going to the Curtises house." Daly yells, "go get Liv stall Bob, I'll call the house form here." Dally runs off.

I find a pay phone and cal real quick, "Curtises household Darry speaking." Darry says, "get Liv out of there, Bobs coming." I say, I hear Darry curse and the line goes dead. I don't know what to do next, so I start to walk back to Bobs.

Once I get to the soc side of town I hear Bob yell at me, "hey get in." I look back and slide in the back, all of them are drunk, "what are you guys doing?" I ask trying to act sweet, "Liv went to the Curtises but when we got there she was gone." Bob says as he starts to drive, I know I should get out because he's drunk driving, but I don't want anther bruise, "she couldn't have been." I say making up a lie real quick, "she was with me, we went to the park and then she fell and got dizzy and went home. I saw her go home."

"Did you go to their house?" Bob says getting mad, I have two options take the blame or let Liv do it, "no, Dallas came and found me, he told me we could run away but I said no. I said I liked hanging with you guys to much." Bob processors this then says, "ok, oh and I've unenrolled your from school." "What!" "You do online school now." I can't believe he did that.

I need help, who should Penelope fall for? Bob, Soda, Johnny? I'm kinda stuck, and please comment so I know if this is a good story.
