My eyes felt heavy, still I struggled to open them. My body was sore and my head was killing me. After getting up I would go for some painkillers and then take a good shower, maybe that would make me feel better.
I heard voices, people screaming at the top of their lungs, yet I could not understand what they were saying. I also heard footsteps making the wood creak beneath them. The wind hit my bare body, causing me to shake from the cold. This was all so strange. I did not remember going to bed without clothes, it is more I remember that I put my pajamas after brushing my teeth.
Once again I tried to open my eyes failing miserably. The feeling of tiredness dominated my body. Even if I managed to open them, I wasn't sure if I could move a muscle.
I heard more footsteps, this time coming closer and stopping in front of me. I could tell that they were two women because clearly I heard them murmur.
"Do it quickly"–said one.
"But look at her, I can't do that to her"–answered the other woman.
They argued, I wasn't sure why but I knew I had something to do with it. I couldn't stop fear from taking hold of me. I had to wake up fast from this bad dream.
"She'll get mad if we don't do the job, you know"–said the same woman who spoke first.
"Okay"–sighs the second.
At this point I feared the worst. I wasn't sure what those women would do to me but I had a feeling it was a bad thing. I tried to scream, though nothing came out of my mouth, not a single word. As my attempts were unsuccessful, I resigned myself.
Seconds later cold water fell on me, drenching my entire body. The cold ran through me and only then could I react. I raised my head, opening my eyes wide to look through my wet hair at two girls in strange clothes in front of me.
The first was a tall girl, with long blonde hair falling down her back, her brown eyes seemed to hide something dark. She had a serious countenance on her face, her brows furrowed and her lips in a straight line.
On the other hand, the second woman was dark-skinned, her dark hair reaching a little above her shoulders while her dark brown eyes stared at me looking worried.
They were both very pretty girls, I had to admit.
But something was wrong and I knew it.
The blonde drew a sword from the sheath that was tied around her waist. She raised the metal blade and lowered it in my direction, before it reached me I closed my eyes tightly, waiting for the moment when my life would end but it never came. I slowly opened my eyes only to see the blade of the sword close to my face.
"Get up," the blonde spoke coldly, "Get up!" She yelled when I ignored her.
I got up as fast as my body allowed, I was still in pain. The girl in exasperation grabbed my arm tightly and ended up lifting me up. Standing, she took one of the pieces of rope she had cut and began to tie my hands. Only then did I realize that I had been tied to a large log.
"Walk" the girl spoke again now starting to walk. She expected me to follow her.
A little push made me move a few steps forward. I looked back to realize it had been the dark-skinned girl. With a slight movement of the head she motioned for me to walk.
I walked slowly as it was the fastest I could move at that moment. I looked around, first to the left where there were several men carrying barrels, some sitting on medium wooden crates, they definitely didn't look nice. I turned to the right to come across the same image. Everyone in this place had weird outfits that reminded me of pirate movies.
