I got up annoyed with her, surprising myself that I could do it since my legs had previously given way and were still shaking slightly. I put down the mug that she had brought me on her bed, I wouldn't bother picking it up and started walking as best I could towards the door, cursing that pretty brunette under my breath. When I was about to leave I looked at the apple in my hand and an idea crossed my mind. Smiling maliciously I looked up from the fruit and focused on the girl, she was quite relaxed in her chair without even paying any attention to me, which seemed perfect to execute my plan. It might be childish, but it was the only kind of revenge I'd get for all of this, just for now.

Then I threw the apple with all my might at a distracted Camila. The fruit struck near his cheekbone and ended up falling to the ground. The brunette moved quickly, pulling her chair back to get up. Her hand traveled to the hit area, looking down where I could see her eyes widening in surprise. It took only a few seconds for her to understand what had happened and then she slowly began to raise her head. The smile that I used to have on my face disappeared and I swallowed hard when I saw that now her eyes were looking at me in a hard, almost annoying way.

"I ... I think ... I should go," I spoke nervously while backing away.

I didn't dare turn my back on her so with my eyes still on her I closed the door as soon as I left her cabin. I was a little relieved to see that she made no move to approach me and just stood there looking at me with a frown. I was beginning to believe that it had been a bad idea to throw the apple at her and that she would make me pay for it later. Thinking about it sent a chill down my spine, making me shiver slightly.

I turned around suspiciously and walked towards the kitchen where I expected to find Normani, maybe she could help me in case the brunette shows up. Besides that she herself had told me that I had to look for the brunette because she had to show me something. Thinking about what I had to do with it, I got to the kitchen, went through the double wooden door and looked for the girl with my eyes. It took me only a few minutes to find her since she was at the end of the room, surrounded by the few women in the room.

In silence I approached the small group and greeted shyly, I don't know why I had the impression that all of them were looking at me in a strange way.

"Lauren!" Normani greeted me looking excited "It's good that you show up, I have something to show you."

Without saying more and without giving me a chance to ask, she took my hand leading me out of the kitchen. We crossed the deck and went down through the hatch, we went through the crew cabins followed by Dinah's and finally we ended up in front of the door that she remembered was a kind of bathroom. The brunette ushered us in, closing afterwards and then walked towards the bathtub, which until then I noticed it was full. I looked confused at Normani as she raised an eyebrow, still not understanding why she brought me here.

"Well, what is all this?" I asked when I received no explanation from her.

She smiled. Her eyes shone with excitement, all of her gave off an extremely happy aura which left me a bit puzzled.

What had happened to her to make her so happy?

"Well," she started saying, "Mila asked me to let you take a bath." She said you were desperate for one and she felt you deserved it," she finished, shrugging.

"I'm not desperate," I said, not quite sure.

They might be used to the kind of life they lead but I am not. I still needed my hot cup of coffee when I woke up in the morning and not just water with some bread.

I shook my head trying to focus on what was happening now.

"Wait a second ..." I continued after reviewing what Normani had said "Did you say that she thinks I deserve it?" I asked looking at her curiously.
