I watched the sunset while letting out a groan. I blew out some of the air I was holding and tightened my grip on Dinah's wrists. In all this time that we had been hanging, she had not stopped cursing Camila for leaving us in this situation. My hands, like my ankle, ached from holding the other girl's full weight. Sometimes I would slip and when that happened the blonde did not hesitate to dig her nails into me as a warning not to let go.

Suddenly I started to feel something slide down my boot, slowly going down.

"Shit ..." I said in a low voice when I remembered what I had stored in that place.

"What?" I heard Dinah ask.

"It's the dagger," I said, now worried that it would slip out of my boot and fall.

The object could fall, injuring us both while doing so. It could cause the tallest one to fall if it cut into any part of our arms, or in the worst case the dagger could stab into Dinah.

Maybe I was exaggerating a bit but apparently anything could happen here.

"Dagger?. Why the fuck are you carrying a dagger?"

"Camila gave it to me some time ago," I answered nervously.

I felt like the dagger was already reaching the end of my boot. With an effort I raised my head, watching the tip of the weapon stick out.

"Dinah ..." I called her and without waiting for an answer I continued "I don't want to scare you but I think it's going to fall" at no point had she taken her eyes off my shoe.

"Leave it, I'll try to catch her."

Surprised by her words I hurried to look at her. She didn't look at all concerned with that, dare I say she didn't even care if the dagger cut her when she tried to do what she said.

"Are you crazy ?!" I yelled at her. "It could hurt you or you could fall for trying." It's a simple dagger, it doesn't matter.

"Of course it matters!" The blonde replied, also shouting, "It's not a simple dagger, if Camila gave it to you, it's for something ... shit," she finished moving a little.

We swayed slightly, hitting the boat and inevitably the sharp object fell. It was so fast that I barely had time to turn my face away so it just brushed my cheek and still managed to cut me. I let out a cry when Dinah pushed herself up with her legs to dodge the dagger and another when she wrenched from one of my hands, reaching for it. Incredibly she had succeeded, with just two fingers of her left hand she managed to catch it.

Carefully she slowly raised her hand, brought the dagger to her mouth and held it with it. Then she was quick to hold onto me again.

"Do not do that again!. Hell, you scared me."

She let out a small laugh, saying something that clearly from the dagger in her mouth I couldn't understand. After my heart returned to its normal rhythm I closed my eyes trying to assimilate what had just happened. It is that everything had happened like in a movie and when I say everything is everything. Since I woke up to this moment.

A pull on my ankle made me put my thoughts aside and return to reality again, it was then that I realized that we were climbing. Little by little but we did it. Someone grabbed my legs and pulled them back up onto the deck of the ship, taking Dinah with me. The two of us fell on the wood of the floor with a strong blow which caused me to let out several moans on my part and curses on the part of the blonde. When I recovered a bit I raised my head watching Gerd grab the rope he had tripped over. It was still tangled in my ankle that was slightly in the air because of the great man.

I didn't want to waste any more time so I untied the rope and took it off my ankle, it was a bit red but luckily I didn't have a big wound. I fixed my attention back on Gerd as I rubbed the reddened skin, he did nothing but stare at me and at some point I began to believe that he was not even blinking.

"Damn, couldn't they have brought us up earlier?" I heard Dinah ask annoyed.

I turned to look at her but she was not addressing the man with the scar in front of me, but rather the brown boy in front of her.

"I'm sorry, Camila's orders," Shawn answered.

"And where is that damn Camila? Because I swear I'm going to kill her when I see her."

The boy denied with a chuckle at Dinah's comment, but I didn't really like what she said. As she did not receive any response, the tallest one left annoyed, entering one of the hatches. The next to go was Gerd who just grunted in goodbye, or so I assumed.

So that left Shawn and me alone, of course not counting the other men hanging around on deck.

"Are you okay?" He asked, approaching.

"Uhm yeah ... Thanks for getting us up, I couldn't have lasted much longer" I spoke in a low voice.

He helped me up, staying with me for support even when I told him it wasn't necessary. According to the brunette, I could not support my foot which was totally true but I was sure that I only needed some time for the pain to subside.

"I guess those fifteen minutes were the worst for you," Shawn commented.

Shit. Only fifteen minutes had we been there ?.

I thought hours had passed.

I didn't say anything about it instead I cleared my throat.

"And where is Camila?" I asked carefully, I didn't want to sound like a desperate madwoman who wanted to kill the brunette just like Dinah.

"Probably hiding from Dinah or sleeping around," he shrugged.

A few seconds later a group of men who were gathered at the end of the boat called Shawn. Before leaving with them, the boy looked at me in a very strange way, with such a charming smile that it would make anyone fall in love but not me. He stroked my arm gently and said goodbye, leaving me confused by his attitude.

I watched him walk away still wondering why he had touched my arm the way he did and then it dawned on me.

I had slept with Shawn!

That's why he looked at me like that and maybe he thought we could have something more.

The very thought of that made me dizzy. There was nothing wrong with him, but I did not like boys and now I had had sex with one.

"Oh shit," I whispered when I thought I could get pregnant.

I cursed over and over again that night for drinking so much and would have continued to do so had it not been for something that had fallen on my head. It was mild but hard enough to make me realize he had hit me. Then I looked at the ground to find my dagger and a tangerine peel. I bent down, taking the shell in my hands. I watched it closely for a few minutes until another fell, this time on one of my shoulders. Determined to find out what was happening I raised my head, when I did something fell and hit my face.

I backed away with my hands to my face, rubbing carefully. It had been quite a blow to tell the truth.

"Sorry," someone yelled.

With fear I looked up again and there at the top of the mast was Camila. She was on the top where only her head poked out.

"If you don't mind, could you give me the tangerine?" She yelled again.

I blinked several times until I understood what she was asking of me. I frowned running a hand over my nose to make sure it wasn't bleeding and luckily it wasn't, then I looked at the tangerine on the ground.

What the fuck was wrong with the people on this ship?

"Please" once again I heard Camila's voice from above.

I sighed, I was tired, angry and in pain. All I wanted was to go to rest once and for all, as simple as that.

I walked with a slight limp due to the rope that had been on my foot a few minutes ago and took my dagger along with the stupid fruit. By now it was obvious to me where I had to climb, so I began to climb that set of ropes that would lead me to the brunette.
