When I separated from her, I rested my forehead on hers, closing my eyes for a moment and smiling because at last she was with me. I felt a part of my soul return to me.

"Lauren ..." Camila whispered.

"You don't have to say anything now. We can just stay like this," I said in a low voice, letting out a small sigh at the end.

Just thinking about being rejected by the brunette made me sick, although looking at it carefully, if she hadn't done it, it had to mean something. So Dinah's words made sense now but Camila's attitude confused me a bit.

Didn't she feel the same way?

I forced myself not to think about it so I stepped away and took one of her hands. Without saying anything, I dragged her out of the cell with me, determined to get her out of this dirty place. But just before we could get to the door she stopped, I turned to look at her raising one of my eyebrows in the process.

"What's wrong?" I asked when she didn't say anything.

"I can't leave them here." She pointed to the men in the cells.

I blinked trying to assimilate her words, I wondered if I had really heard correctly.

"They are my companions now," she continued, determination was written in her gaze. I knew I would not let them.

I sighed again.

"Good, but we have to hurry."

She gave me a small smile in response and took the bunch of keys that I offered her. She quickly opened each of the cells, letting out all those men with a rough and careless appearance. I tried to keep a serious posture and not seem intimidated by all of them even though inside I was shaking with fear. I was very surprised when she opened up the idiot from earlier and let him out along with the others.

"Very beautiful, I knew you would end up in my arms sooner or later," the man spoke, giving the brunette a strong spanking.

She just smiled.

Anger seized me and I immediately wanted to go cut off her hands so that he would never touch her again. I took a step wanting to fulfill that thought that crossed my head but I stopped when I saw that Camila pushed the guy making him fall. Somewhat stunned by the blow he had taken, he tried to get up without success since the girl had placed her foot on his head, pressing it against the ground with force. The man groaned in pain.

"Lauren, the sword," she asked seriously.

It took me a few minutes to understand what she was referring to, then my eyes widened in surprise.

"W-what? ..." I didn't even want to imagine what she was thinking of doing.

"Give me the fucking sword." The look she gave me sent a shiver down my spine and for a second I hesitated to do what I was asking.

With trembling hands I passed the sword to her, she snatched it from me and then removed the foot from the man's head and grabbed him by the hair, pulling him up.

"What are you going to do to me, you fucking bitch?" The guy asked through clenched teeth.

Camila lowered her mouth to his ear and answered audibly with a mischievous smile.

"Something I've wanted to do for a long time."

Without warning the blade of the sword cut his throat. I looked away in horror at what the brunette had just done, as much as I had witnessed something like it before, I could not get used to seeing this.
