"Wait!!!" Cali, yelling from the porch, as usual, making me run back.
I am already late, so might as well take a minute. It's amazing how much she has grown since that night, matured alot. Without a mother, I guess its kinda nessicary. But no time to think about that night right now, I have to go, and if I cry, she cries, and michale cant get her to stop yet.
"This much" she said, wrapping her arms around me.
"This much" I whispered, just like mom used to, trying not to cry now.
"Bye lovely" said Michale.
I can always count on him to save me. He kissed me as I smiled, brushing my lips gently. Somehow he still gives me butterflies when he does that, just like our first kiss. I pretend not to notice them, but I secretly hope they never go away. They make me feel alive, happy, like nothing can hurt me. Its not often me or cali feel like that anymore... I wish mom were here...
