"Your happy ending may not be what you expect. That is what will make it so special."

~Snow White~

Killian and Emma held hands as they walked toward the coffee shop. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"I thought you were closed today."

"We are," he began as he unlocked the door, "But Matt left his script here, and he needs it for rehearsal. I told him we'd drop it off for him."

Emma hummed as he held the door open. She walked in before she teased, "Aren't you just an amazing boss?"

He rolled his eyes and shook his head while she laughed. She then pecked his cheek.

"So, where did Matt leave the script?"

"Somewhere under the counter," Killian began as he gestured toward it. He couldn't help but chuckle.

"The lad doesn't quite remember where."

Emma chuckled as well. "Poor kid. He must feel so bad about it."

"Aye, he rather does. He even offered to work extra shifts because he thought it would help. I assured him it wasn't necessary."

Emma wrapped her arms around his neck. "You really are an amazing boss, Killian - among other things."

He smiled at her before he pressed his lips to hers. She smiled into the kiss before she returned it.

When they pulled away, he told her, "Alright, Swan, no more distractions – we must find the script."

"I guess it was my fault," she offered with a grin. He only shook his head before she placed her hands on his chest.

"Come on, let's find this script so Matt won't be freaking out."

Killian nodded before they headed over to the counter. They both bent down and started to search.

As they rummaged through the mugs, to-go cups, napkins, and other items, Killian hummed. Emma couldn't help but smile.

As she began humming along, he found his eyes drawn to her. With a smile, he commented, "I do rather enjoy your humming, Swan."

She smiled once more. "I know you're just flattering me, but I can't say I mind."

With a chuckle, she then added, "Although, I really like hearing you sing. I miss it when you guys are swamped."

Killian leaned over and kissed her cheek. "And I like how you've become quite the romantic."

A light blush stained her cheeks. She then smiled and told him, "You've always brought it out in me – even more so because of how much I love you."

He returned her smile before he placed a soft kiss against her lips. She threaded her fingers through his hair.

When they pulled away, her green eyes landed on some papers shoved under a to-go carton. She pulled it free and offered her boyfriend another smile.

"Found it."

Killian hummed before they rose to their feet. He pulled his phone from his pocket and fired off a text message. It soon beeped with a response.

"Alright, Swan. He'll be waiting outside the Performing Arts Center."

"And you know where that is?"

He scratched behind his ear. "Not...exactly." She couldn't help but roll her eyes before he shook his phone.
