Chapter 18

Angel’s POV:

I saw my girl go backstage waiting for her big debut, and I cannot stop looking at her and smile. Yeah okay, call me ‘pussy-whipped’ or a ‘sap’ but what can I say? I’ve loved this girl since we were kids. And I can proudly say that I can have her as someone who will always be there for me, for the club, and be the future mother to OUR kids, That’s if, of course, she wants them. I hear Jaime announcing and I know that it's time to get ready, I go to Jessa and hand her earwig and kiss her temple, my lips linger there while I tell her, “Love you mi amor, you’re going to be great, See you later.” She smiles at me and I leave quickly and find EZ. I found him by the bar and told him she’ all set. We turned around and watched her perform and I always knew she was a natural born singer, plus with her smoking habit she got the right sultry voice to sing Janis. She sees me with EZ in the back and smirks a little and continues to sing the song. Then Coco’s voice comes online, “Hey Angel, be careful Kayn and his boys are entering the club and he got his eye on our Jessa. She needs to keep it up so she can get an invite to his table.” Jessa hears him and gives a sharp nod. 

Jessa’s POV:

After getting my earwig from Angel and being introduced by Jaime as the club’s new songbird, I come out onto the stage and I hear some of the men whistle ‘wolf whistles’ at my outfit and the two marks on collar bone. I see Angel and EZ walk to the bar and I smirk at him knowing that he is proud of me showing off who I belong to. I start to sing the song I chose for my introduction song.
