Shuichi p.o.v

"Bye-bye~!" Was the last thing y/n said with that usual wide smile on her face as she gave everyone a small wave before disappearing.

I watched her heading into the school until she was inside. As soon as she was out of my line of sight I felt a worried feeling appearing in my stomach.

I just couldn't help but feel worried about her

Like what happens if she dose run into kokichi. And if she dose, she could end up- NO! I can't think about that! I have to believe that she'll be safe and hope for the best that she doesn't run into him.

Even though i told myself that, I still couldn't help but worry about it. I can't keep my eyes on her twenty-four seven though. So I just have to keep her away from kokichi as much as I can when I am with her.

That way... she'll be safe...

I hadn't realised it at the time but I was zoning out. Once I came back to reality I realised almost everyone had gone there separate ways.

The only ones who where still outside the dinning hall where me, maki and kaito.

"You ok man? You seem worried about something" Kaito asked me as he must of noticed the look on my face.

"I-i'm fine" I said with an awkward smile

I know I just lied to my best friend But I didn't want him worring about it. Considering I'm probably getting worked up for nothing.

"Is it about y/n?" Maki asked in her usual cold tone but she sounded more concerned then she usually dose.

"Um, y-yeah" I said back being honest with them," I'm just worried that she might run into kokichi. If she dose, then he could try to kill her." I finished as I looked down at the ground as I could feel the worried feeling reappearing inside of me.

Kaito then put his hand on my shoulder making me look back up at him and he said " I'm sure that won't happen. Kokichi may say some crazy things, but he doesn't go beyond threats. She'll be fine. Plus I couldn't let one of my sidekicks die" he said with a grin on his face.

"Thanks kaito" I said smiling back at him

"No problem " kaito replied as he let go of my shoulder.

"Although...I'm sorry for changing the subject slightly. But could I ask you two something?" I asked as I nervously fiddled with my hands.

They both gave me a nod and waited for me to continue.
I let out a shaky sigh before I spoke, but then said," if you where y/n, h-how would you like someone to confess to you?"

The both of them seemed shocked by my question at first, but then they both smiled.

"So you finally want to tell her how you feel?" Maki said while she crossed her arms.

"Eh y-yeah. I feel like I can't keep it bottled up inside me forever. Although, I don't want her answer."

"Hm? Why's that?" Kaito asked me in a confused tone
