(Warning! Death of character)

You fell on the ground, a certain bone in your body poping as you did so.
Not broken but it hurt.
You couldn't run anymore.
Dried tears were going down your cheeks and fresh ones were shining in your eyes.

It was the Wraith. And he was really heated. There was something agressive about the beast today. He chased people down like a bloodhound and beat them.
He beat everyone to their death. As they were calling out for help on the floor, he pulled them back from safety into the shadows and beat them with his blade, splattering their brains out.
He sliced up their back and moved deeper, slashing against their spine, until they couldn't move and just bled out like animals.

And that's what you're gonna get now. You fell to the floor, your legs not being able to move you anymore. You could feel his laggy breath further behind you.
You just wished you had time to tell Chris.
He's gonna be searching for you, so you can escape together. But you won't be here anymore.
You'll be dead.

A slight jolt of fear went through your body as you felt the killers cold hand wrap around your ankle.
You quickly yanked the foot out of his grasp and kicked him in the face.
A last attempt for fight.
He bent his head to the side, quickly looking back at you. A snarl came from his emotionless, stone face.
He grabbed onto your ankle, and pulled you between his legs.

He raised his spine blade, and went to hit your face with it.
You managed to cover yourself using your arms, but the price was high. He cut up both of them up rather violently, letting blood soak over the two of you.
You screamed in pain as you struggled to block any more blows.
After a short while, the killer slashed at your stomach.
He made more. And more.
Sometimes he pulled out small chunks of meat.
It made you scream out your vocals.
"CHRIS!" You shouted through tears and pain, trying to let your beloved know that you're not getting out of this.
The killer grabbed onto your arm, looking you directly in the eyes. Just to see if that little hopeful flame you have, died out.
And it did.
You could hear the Wraith snarl at your face before straightening up and stomping off. Most likely to find Chris.
You were left behind like trash.

You swallowed your own blood in pain. You struggled to lift up your own head, to look at the damage the murderer has done.
Your stomach consisted of numerous gaping holes that oozed with blood. Your arms weren't much better on it.
Not to mention you can feel every pulse in your body. Every breath, every beat, everything stings like million needles.
You let go of your neck muscles, laying back down with a sigh.
You're gonna die a slow death.
Bleeding out like a pig.

Time felt so slow as your vision got dark here and there.
You don't even know how long you've been laying there.
Maybe this is it. Maybe death doesn't really exist. Maybe you're already dead. You're just a corpse laying on it's back, in a pool of it's own blood.
You closed your eyes, hoping the time would go by faster.
Footsteps.
Footsteps made you open your eyes and turn your head to the side.
It hurt.
At first you thought the killer was coming by, but no. It was something way worse.

"Chris..." You opened your mouth and spoke his name as more blood poured out, gently rolling down your pale cheeks.
The tall man imidiately looked your direction, making you smile through the pain.
You always loved that ready look on his face. Always prepared to jump in action.
As soon as he saw you, he started running towards you, not even caring if the killer was nearby.
"Jesus christ... (Y/n)..." He looked down on your body, horrified, before getting on his knees, right next to you.
It was a sad moment seeing him like that.
You hated it.
He's seen so many people die already. Friends, family even. And now you. His love.
"No no no..." He murmured.
"Chris" You got cut off by your own blood.
"Chris" You got cut off again. It was as if the cruel Entity itself didn't want you to tell him anything.
You stretched out your arm to the best of your abilities.
Chris caringly grabbed it and carefuly pulled you closer, into his lap.
He had an emotionless face, but tears were agressively sliding down his face, tapping on his S.T.A.R.S. vest.
You've never seen him cry.
He knew damn well there was no saving you. You've lost too much.

You felt nothing in your legs at this point. They were cold and numb.
"It. It hurts Chris" You admitted as you tiredly brought your hand to his cheek. Chris grabed your hand, pushing it closer.
It was so cold...
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry..." He quietly said, lowering his head as a few more droplets fell on your shirt.
"No... hey, hey. Chris look at me" You said, right before your own blood shut you up. Your eyelids were heavy.
He looked up at you, his sight blurring even more.
"It's not your fault" You said the words clearly and slowly, trying to get them through, to Chris.
"I don't want you to go..." He quietly said, his voice cracking a little at the end of his heavy sentence.
"We know I have to" You smiled at him, using your thumb to wipe away a tear from his cheek.
You suddenly felt ready to leave.
Ready to die.
Seeing him for the last time gave you comfort.

"Chris... please. One last time" You tugged him down a little, feeling lightheaded.
Chris bowed down to you, gently planting his lips on yours. You shut your eyes, not opening them.
You brushed your hand up, going in Chris' hair.
Your final movement before the numbness of your body reached your brain.

"I love you..." Was the last thing you heard.
'I love you too. Chris.'
