"I'm really nervous... not gonna lie to you" You awkwardly smiled, playing with your hands as you looked into the campfire.
"I think you'll do just fine" Jeff, your only friend said as he scratched inside his large beard.
It's not been long since you unwillingly joined the Entity's realm, and you could feel that a trial would be upon you soon. Your first one.
Jeff already explained to you what's the goal of each side of the twisted game, but you were still nervous.

Jeff Johansen was a guy who looked intimidating, and had a rough exterior, but was a kind, caring artist on the inside.
He was a quiet, bearded man, with a rather large body build. Would protect his few friends no matter what.
He found you first when you fell in here.
Normaly he preffers to stay away from new people, but he found you all right.
Saw you like a lost pup in need of a direction. He wanted to be that direction for you.

"You think? I hope we'll be put in together... I'd be nervous around anyone else..." You brushed some hair back, as you wiggled on the tree log.
"Yeah, I'd like to be with ya too..." Jeff said quietly and calmly, hypnotizing the fire before him.

Suddenly, Dwight looked up from the flames of the campfire.
"Oh no... nonono! I don't want to goh..oh..." His eyelids shut as he fell face first into the stick-filled ground.
"Oww..." You cringed as he turned into foggy ash on place.
"That's gonna hurt, huh?" You turned to Jeff, to get his reaction, but were only met with eyes that slowly shut, and a body that fell back, behind the log.
He too, was picked for a trial.
You swallowed dry saliva down.

You started feeling a thick, pushing pain around your skull.
The air got heavy, and your eyes were vibrating with your vision.
It soon left, leaving all of you feeling super exhausted.
You felt your body drop to the ground, and you saw only dark after that.

Your first trial begins.

You woke up with a sharp inhale, coughing up.
You looked around, eyes wide.
Everything was... orange like. Dust and sand was on the ground. There was dead grass all over too.
Empty, wooden buildings croaked around you.
You looked above.
"Dead dawg saloon..." An old, shot-apart sign said, while a jet black crow rested atop it.
A saloon? This must've been some sorta... old cowboy town.
You slowly got up from the ground, stumbling a little.
You wanted Jeff, imidiately.
You needed that feeling of safety he gave off.
You were told not to make much noise while in trials, as the killers have an insane sense of hearing.
So calling for Johansen wasn't exactly smart.

You decided to not go inside the saloon, as you could see dead bodies lay inside, posicioned on chairs.
You went behind the big wooden building, finding a generator.
Jeff told you about theese, you're supposed to repair them into working order, to power the two big gates.
You slowly aproached the machine.

Something grabbed you from the back, covering your mouth. You wanted to freak out and shout for help, before a familiar voice reminded you.
"Hey, hey hey, it's me" It was Jeff of course. You sighed into his hand in relief.
"I didn't want to scare you and risk making noise... sorry (Y/n)" he apologized, one hand still resting on your shoulder as you turned to him.
"It's fine... you did scare me though!" You whispered to him, a rebelious smile on your lips.
"Yeah I'm sorry... let's get to the generator" He seemed to snap out of thought mid-sentence, as he took his hand off your shoulder, walking towards the machine.

He sat down on one side of the grey generator, giving you three more sides to choose from.
You sat next to him.

You were met with four metal pistons, none of them being able to move.
Stuck.
Under the various pistons were damaged tubes, of the color black.
You had no clue what to do with any of them.
You just sat down, your legs in front of you, hands going over the various pipes and rubber tubes. You were trying to find some sort of broken part, something that could help you solve this puzzle.

"What're you doin.." Jeff suddenly took you out of your "work".
"Well... I actualy have no idea..." You chuckled nervously.
"Yeah, right... I never had the chance to explain it to ya, so I might as well" Jeff smiled a little under his beard, shifting away from his side of the gen.
He invited you to sit in front of him.
"You sure? I don't wanna get in the way of anything..."
"Just sit and do what I tell ya" Jeff cut your speech off.

You sat in front of him, looking at the generator's insides. This side was different, it had a little powerbox, with a big tumbleweed of wires hanging out. They were all stuck together, randomly interwined.

"Right, so what you wanna do is..." You felt the bear-like man shift closer to you, making his chest and your back colide, with a quiet *thump*.
"...Grab the blue wires. Any" He comanded and you grabbed onto two blue wires.
Jeff bent over a little, pushing himself closer to you. You noticed you've stoped listening to the details, as you felt him on your back.
"Grab the small metal parts inside..." He murmured, his voice deep, and quiet.
It was... comforting, listening to him.
You struggled a little to take hold of the small metal rods. Jeff quickly helped by grabbing your hands, and moving them with experteese, so you could grab onto the wires with ease.
His hands were warm, and rough. At this point you've stopped focusing on anything that came out of the man.

Before you relized it, the two blue rods were connected under your fingers.
"You got it?" Jeff asked after that while, looking down at you, still holding your hands in his.
You somewhat understood the directions. But...
"Could you show me again?" You asked.
Jeff looked around for any signs of the killer, before reaching out for another pair of wires.

After a short while of connecting wires, and you losing focus over him pressing his bear body on yours, Jeff spoke up.
"Y'know... if you wanted me to hold your hands, you could've just said so"
Your heart slowly pumped it's way into your throat, and it defenetly wasn't because a murderer was nearby.
"What- no, no no no I wasn't- It's not like that!" You protested, turning to look at him, but not yanking your hands away. You felt him squeeze them lightly.
"Really..?" He asked, a little unsure of himself.
"I just wanted to learn how to do theese damn- the generators!" You felt the panic crawl up your body as you tripped over your own words.

After what seemed like eternity of silence, you wanted to speak up, but were cut off by Johansen.
"Listen, I can feel there's something going on... so I'll ask away. Would you want to be with me?" The question wrapped around you, pushing your legs together in nerve.
"Yes- yes I do" Your voice cracked at first, after quickly clearing your throat, you ensured your answer.
It came out of nowhere.
Your mouth answered on it's own.
You got a quiet hum out of Jeff, who wrapped his arms closer around your form.
"Alright... I like it" He gently bumped his forehead to yours.
You let out a breathly giggle.
Butterflies went wild in your belly as you felt the warm contact.

A really quiet sound could be heard from the saloon.
A sniff.
You both jolted your heads over.
The scream-sneak killer, Ghostface, was motioning his finger towards his mask's eye, wiping off an imaginary tear. He was leaning on the railing, watching you for a while now.

"Run! Go!" Jeff pushed you up, running right behind you.
Ghost followed the new lovebirds with murderous intent.
