Your ears picked up wood creaking.
Your heart started slowly bumping.
Best time to take a slow leave. You slowly got up from the generator, looking around for the killer, you could see the end of his bent back disapear under the stairs.
You swallowed with nerve.
You were stuck with a killer on a beached ship in the middle of a crow-filled swamp.
The trial just started, and there was already one dead, yet there weren't any generators done. You walked to the edge of the stairs. They were all broken off and useless to walk on.
You got on your knees, grabbing on the edge.
You hung by your hands, dropping down in a second. The wood creaked below your feet with uncomfortable loudness.
The killer stood before you, his back to you.
He slowly turned around.
He let out an disgusting, bubbly gurgle, before turning to you completly. It was that abomination, the Hillbilly. He was always after blood.
Sadistic bastard.
You just hoped Jane was okay... he seemed to always have a bite out for her, and you knew for a fact that she was in the trial with you.A quiet swoosh of the Hillbilly's weapon broke you out of thought. You managed to duck down just in time for him to hit the wall of the boat.
Rotten, wet wood let out barely any sound as the killer murmured a displeased grunt.
You saw your chance, and you took it.
You ran far and quick.
The killer was not too far to follow. He growled at you multiple times.
The sounds he always made were so disturbing. Especialy when they came from that face. You quickly aproached the dock. You could hear a generator quietly rumble up there.
Please don't be Jane.
You needed to get a bit of distance.
You saw a window of oportunity.
Quite litteraly.
You sped up, meaning to jump through the window, make a loop around, and go on the dock.
You reached for the window, exited look on your face, hand merely brushing past the wood...
And you were roughly yanked back.
All of your plans getting crumbled down into a crinkled paper ball. The killer grabbed you by the back of your shirt, bringing you up to his nasty, burnt head.
He gurgled in your face.
Warm clouds of white air left his yellowed mouth.
They smelled of tobacco, rotten meat and blood.
You didn't know by his growls, but you assumed it would be some remark about catching you.
As the Hillbilly looked over you again, you saw yet another oportunity. You simply kicked him in the ribs.
He groaned out loudly, grabbing onto his chest.
You must've hit a sensitive spot.
He shouted as he dropped you to the ground.
You quickly got up from your fours and vaulted over the window with speed. You executed your plan, ending up on top of the dock.
Now what...
You quickly looked around in panic for a place to hide.
Your eyes landed on a dead red locker.
Better than nothing.
You could hear the abomination's angry growls inclosing.
The wet wooden planks croaked under your feet as you trotted for the locker.
You opened it, not even caring about what the inside looked like.
You hopped in.
Looking through the small, vent-like holes, you tried to keep your breaths down and quiet.
The killer was slowly steping on the dock, looking for you.
You focused on him...A hand quickly covered your mouth, and just so so stopped you from screaming.
Someone was with you in the locker.
You snapped your head to look at them.
It was really hard to see in the dim lighting.
You relized you were litteraly pushed onto the person. Or creature.
The thing must've noticed your furrowed eyebrows and simply showed you a sign of hush. The killer limped around the dock for longer before growling in displeasure and leaving.
"Hey... It's Jane" The voice next to you said with a smile.
"Oh! Hey Jamie!" You smiled. You wish you could've seen her face right now.
She was a friend.
A great woman, who knew how to take care of herself and her friends. Maybe you had a bit of a thing for her...
Lucky for you, she seemed to like you enough. She always adressed you as her favorite.
Whatever that was supposed to mean."(Y/n) sugar please, could you open the door?" Jane tore you out of your thoughts.
"Oh shoot- of course!" You pushed on the door.
They didn't budge.
They didn't budge.
"Hey uh Jane... I think. I think we may have a locker situation" You said, already panicking.
"What?" She tried pushing on the door too. It opened only ever so little. You couldn't even push your fingers through that crack.
"What are we gonna do?" She asked you, looking at you in horror.
"I don't know..." You sighed, looking at the celing of the tiny locker.
You were absolutely pushed onto Jane and she was pushed onto you.
Safe to say that there was little room to move around in."We're gonna have to wait for Jonah to find us..." You sighed.
"But that might not even happen" Jane said in distress.
She was right. For one, Jonah didn't even know you guys were here.
"We can't be loud... the killer might hear..." You hushed down, sighing in dissapointment.
"Yeah... wait. Wait wait wait that might be just what we need!" Jane snapped her fingers.
"I'm sure that ruffian could bust this locker open no problem!"
"He sure is strong..." You pondered.
"Make noise, come on!" Jane started banging on the door of the locker. You quickly joined in."Hey! Help us, hello!"
"Please we're stuck in here help!"
You both yelled out as you banged on the door and the ventilation.
He heard.
He heard alright.
Killers had supreme sight and hearing. This was no problem for him to spot.Soon enough, the hunchback appeared once more on the dock.
He stared down the locker.
"Oh great! The sulfur is here!" You joked, as to get him agitated enough.
He gurgled in displeasure, aproaching the locker.
He looked through the vent, breathing inside it.
"Ew. I sure am glad I'm stuck in here with you and not him. His breath stinks." Jane joined you, grabbing your hand.
"Yeah. He's gross." You murmured to her.
The Hillbilly couldn't keep it in anymore.
He gurgled loudly and grabbed onto the doorhandle.
Safe to say it worked. He yanked on the doors and tore them right out of their hinges no problem."Come on!" Jane pulled you behind herself, running under the Hillbilly's arm, and off the dock.
"Y'know- I didn't mind it as much!" You said while running.
"What?"
"I didn't mind being in a locker with you like that!"
"Way too stuffy for me, but if you wanna find another one, I'll be happy to join ya!" Jane yelled back as she pulled you through a window. You two ended up escaping happily, keeping a rather fond memory of the locker situation.
