You hit the ground hard against the dirty tile floor.
Pushing your heavy eyelids open, you could recognize a bathroom from the Pig's meat plant.
You pushed yourself up, and rubbed your arm.
This never gets easier...
You scooted lazily to the generator that wasn't far from you. You rubbed your eyes and opened up the box with the rods in boredom. This place was starting to get the best out of you.
You were lazy, bored and a hopeless when it came to trials. Nothing exiting ever happened anymore...Well... up until now.
Felix sudenly ran into the bathroom, slaming his back on the wall and covering his mouth. He quickly motioned for you to stay low, as something was aproaching the room.
You crouched down to the floor and scurried like a rat behind the generator.
You were listening.
Your heart soon started bumping with fear.
After a while of listening, your heart started beating really fast and you could hear Felix shout in fear as he saw the killer. You were still oblivious to who it could've been though.
Felix ran from the room, but the heartbeat remained.
You heard... sighs?
As if an annoyed woman stood in the room.
You also heard something like grunts, cracks, snaps. You slowly peaked out, seeing the Spirit.
A very loosely clothed killer, with de-blooded blue skin, that was filled with shattered glass which would often fall out of her. Her eyes were shining white and her black makeup was freely running down her pained expression. Her body was covered in blood as well as many cuts. Some of which were loosely floating in the air.
Just like her hair.
Her hair, oh her hair.
Long, void black locks that floated high into the air and swirled around freely, usualy following her fast movements as if she were underwater.
Those very locks though, they were stuck in the wall...
As if someone would put them in when they were building the wall, and the spitit was now stuck, trying to pull them out as hard as she could. The Spirit had the ability to phase travel.
Her soul would leave her body and she walked in the plain of the non-living, leaving her husk behind.
Basicaly teleportation.
Her hair must've gotten stuck in the wall, when she was in her phase and now she can't get them out, because her physical form has reapeared.Your issue was worse than hers though.
She was stuck right at the door, with you hiding behind a generator that she could easily reach to.
You were stuck.
Just like she was.
You exhaled, very slowly crawling out from your hiding spot and looking at her inocently.
She stoped moving and very slowly turned her head at you, before loudly yelling and trying to throw herself at you.
A killer instinct.
You twitched back out of habit, but calmly exhaled after relizing that the Spirit couldn't do anything other than scratch the air in front of you. She looked really angry about her stuck up situation.
When she relized in what situation you were in though..."Ha! Anata wa watashi no yō ni tachiōjō shite imasu!"
(Ha! You are stuck like me!") The killer mockingly laughed at you while having an odd expressions on her face. It seemed to change very rapidly and very often.
"I don't understand your language..." You lift your hands in surrender.
After a while of silence, you continued.
"But maybe I can help you?" You suggested, slowly walking towards the stuck killer with good intentions.
"Hai, tasuketekudasai..."
(Yes, please help...)
The Spirit said slyly, having an innocent expression on her face.
You just assumed that everything was fine by the tone of her voice. As soon as you aproached, she started yelling crazy, and scratched at you with her sharp nails like a crazed cat.
She even pulled out her katana so she could reach you.
"Watashi ga anata o korosu koto ga dekiru yō ni chikadzuite kudasai!"
(Come close so I can kill you!)
Her voice droped into a demonic tone as she tried clawing at you with the most angriest expression you've ever seen on a woman. She must've had a problem with her emotions.
She was like a rollercoaster, her emotions and ideas were rolling really fast in her skull, not letting her make up her mind.
"Watashitachi no dare mo koko kara dete imasen..."
(Neighter of us is getting out of here...)
The sentence sounded devilishly evil from the beggining but lost it's power in the middle, and sounded sad...
The Spirit wailed about being stuck with you in the same room.
But she didn't notice, that in her clawing frenzy, a few glass shards fell out from her shoulders.
And she didn't notice that you got one of them..."Listen, I know how to get us out of here, you just need to let me get close" You told the Spirit, getting an annoyed growl out of her.
She obliged though, still standing in the doorway, so she could slash at you as soon as you'll free her.
You walked towards her, carefuly reaching behind your back for the glass shard...And...
Slash!
You quickly steped towards her, put the glass behind her neck, and slid upwards, cutting off a massive portion of her hair.
The Spirit's head boped back and forth a little, trying to get used to the sudden loss of weight.
Her cracky hands slowly went up and brushed through the newly short hair. Random emotions showed on her face.
Switched as fast as channels on TV.
At first it was shocked, then it quickly turned angry and then a small, open mouth smile.
Her white eyes looked to you, as soon as a generator was finnished. You didn't really know the amount of generators that were done by your stay.
The Spirit simply breathed in, straightened up as much as possible, and then yelled out, attacking you with her sword.
You squeaked and ducked, running under her arm, and out the bathroom.
She yelled out. You had no idea what it meant, but you continued running away from her.
You heard an annoyed growl somewhere behind you.The trial ended with you only on a hook. She draged you off into the basement and waited at the top of the stairs, if someone were to come in.
She always managed to scare them away, and you died.
Then the darkness consumed you, and you were litteraly droped back at the survivor campsite. You sat at Claudette's, waiting to get patched up.
You told her about all the crazy stuff that happened."You really got that close?" She asked.
"Yeah. And I paid for it good" You said, looking at your brand new bandages. You two kept on talking.
What has happened in the match, how she spoke to you, and how you died.
Mostly normal stuff Clau asked people when they got off match.
Testing their sanity or something...As you two spoke, she slowly started to loose her focus, and started looking behind you.
"C, we still talking or?" You chuckled, trying to get her attention back to you.
"(Y/n), behind you!" She yelled out, quickly crawling backwards.
You quickly turned around, seeing only fast flashes of the blue, Japanese demon.
Before she dragged you away.
Into the cold forest. You were slammed into the ground, with her crooked foot on your chest.
"Do you see this?!" She pointed to her head.
You imidiately focused on her short flowy hair. It was cut badly, one side having more hair than the other.
"That's my handiwork alright-" You recieved a stomp in the stomach, shutting you up.
"Sorry..." She genuenly apologised, covering her mouth.
"BUT YOU'LL FIX IT" The Spirit suddenly bent down to you, yelling in your face.
Those mood swings...You had to agree.
You wouldn't get out of it alive if you didn't.Your evening was eventualy spent in the Yamaoka estate, cutting the twitchy killer's hair, sweating heavily as her great great great grandfather watched over your shoulder, making sure you didn't hurt her in any way.
After what seemed like an eternity of cutting wild, moving hair, she finaly looked in the mirror.
"Fine. This is fine." She turned to you, a sour expression still stuck on her face.
"But you still owe me for all that! I grew it for years!!" She growled.
"I said I was sorry- I was trying to help you out of the wall" You shrugged.
"Hm." She turned away.
"I... should head back home" You got up, nervously walking past the Spirit's grandpa."HEY!" She yelled out loudly.
You turned around to look.
"Thanks. I guess. For... getting me out of the wall." She murmured, finaly letring you go back home.
"Welcome"
"You still have a debt to repay!" She squealed at you, as you walked away.As soon as you left, Kazan spoke up.
"I can see why you like them..." The booming voice said from above Rin's head.
"OJĪCHAN!!" The small blue girl demonicaly screeched at the Oni, a small, yet visible blush on her face.1533 words
