(Best boy Adam has been requested ;w;)

You were so ready to just get to bed and sleep as long as you can. You walked out the kitchen, sudden barks of neigbourhood dogs stoping you from going any further. You'd brush this off normaly, there's a lot of stray cats and the dogs often bark on them but... even your neigbours twelve year old lazy ass shepherd barked. And that was weird. You decided to go outside, and take a peek on what's up. You opened your door, seeing your street, completly empty and only having light by the tall lamps. You peeked out a little more, seeing dogs behind fences freaking out and barking their lungs out. Oddly enough noone seemed to care. All the lights of your neigbours were turned off. You sighed, looking to your right and then your left. You saw something. Something like a... tail or a limb, hide behind your house. Racoons...
You sighed, grabing a broom from the house and walked out into the cold night.
That was weird too. It's summer... and the nights are hot. But out of nowhere, you saw a cloud of hot air come from your mouth.

You stomped behind your house, into your backyard, the barks and howls of dogs still following you.
You came around a corner, not seeing anything back here... the sutomatic light turned on when it registered you. You walked into the backyard, imidiately noticing something odd. The grass, it was... dead. Rotting even. And the silence. You noticed the deafening silence. No dogs, no crickets, no sound what so ever. The light from your house started flickering. You looked up to it, seeing that even the lights on the street flicker. Your head pained terribly, making you drop the broom and grab your hair. You couldn't yell for help, you couldn't scream in pain. You couldn't do nothing.
Your body suddenly went numb, making you drop to the floor with a splitting headache. Your eyelids became heavy and before you closed them, you saw thick black fog roll up on you, with what seemed like claws of pure evil sticking out. You had one last sigh before your eyes shut.

Your eyes were allowed to open after a long time. Everything was very blurry, and your head was still pounding but at least not so bad. You moved your hands around on the floor, feeling dead grass and... wood? Those were sticks, but your backyard didn't have any of those. You pushed your eyelids up again, vaguely seeing... lines? Trees. Those are trees. But what are those doing here? You're not home...
You started panicking as your hands tried bringing you up, but failing.
You started hearing voices. Somewhere in the backround. Your ears felt like they were stuffed and so you couldn't hear a word. You saw a sudden light go through the trees. You didn't care about who it was, you just wanted help. You lift your hand up above your head and let out a loud groan, trying to spit some words, but failing once again. The light must've noticed because it started boping up and down, as if someone was running closer. The light shut off, making you relize it's a flashlight.
You dropped your hand down, seeing the dark silulette aproach you.

"Whoa... a-are you okay? Can you hear me? Can you say something?" A male voice rang through the air as your head was lifted off the stick filled ground by the man's hand. You groaned some incomprehensible words at him. Your head always started pounding when you spoke.
"Right... yes the headache..." You heard him say, noticing the light Jamaican accent. He helped you up and made you stand. Your legs were extremly weak and you fell right on him.
"Okay, I take it you can't stand yet. That's okay" The man chuckled, hiding his flashlight away. He wrapped his hand around your waist and threw yours around his high shoulers. He started walking with you somewhere. You didn't fight back, he's not harming you, and you needed help.

A few minutes of walking later
He dragged you around for what seemed like an eternity to you, but you were soon welcomed by a bright orange and yellow flame. A campfire. You soon got seated down on a hard surface, very close to the fire. It was nice to feel the warmth. You looked around, seeing numerous figures. Some women, some men. You turned in front of you, to take a better look at your saviour.
He had dark skin, apropriate to his accent, a large and light trench coat and black hair that was going upwards. He noticed your focused stare and turned to you, a welcoming smile on his plump lips.
"Hey there, my name is Adam. Adam Francis" He politely extended his hand. Your eyes focused on his hand, being unable to extend your own. You body felt paralized.
"Can't lift hand..." You murmured, being happy that your head doesn't pound anymore with a single word. Adam retraced his hand with understanding.
"Oo a new face" A female voice cut through your "conversation". You turned your head to the upper right, seeing yet another afro american person. This time it was a small female, wearing a pink shirt with thick tied up dreads on her head.
She sat down to you and grabbed your face, carefully turning, studying your neck and chest.
"Clau..." Adam gently nudged her with his elbow.
"Oh snap... Sorry sorry! My name is Claudette, and I'm something of a doctor here. Please don't mind me..." She ashamedly hid her lower face. You just gave her a smile, looking back at Adam.

"What's this place..? Where am I?" You asked, still sounding a little tired as Claudette looked you all over for scratches and bumps. Adam sighed, looking around at the people and then back at you.
"This... It'll sound crazy but I need you to listen and belive me, okay?" He asked of you, ready to explain. You gave a nod.
"You, are in the entity's realm." Adam said deeply. You noticed the trees groaned and shivered when he said the word entity.
"The what?" You asked.
"...What do you remember last before you got here?" Claudette butted into the convo again.
"I... washed the dishes, heard the dogs bark outside... and saw something move behind my house. I... I went to look there and then there was this-"
"Pounding headache." Claudette interuped you, her eyes circling with tiny, shiny tears.
"How do we get out of here?" You asked, sitting up a little. Claudette wiped her eye and looked at Adam.
"You found her... I'll leave it to you..." She quickly got up, and walked away to sit on a fallen tree, next to a man with a blue cap and sunglasses on his head.

"You... you have any family out there?" Adam asked.
"Yeah... momma, dad, hell even some annoying siblings" You chukled.
"You like them?" Adam asked another question with a smile.
"Of course, they're my family. My dad is sometimes a pain in the ass but he's still my dad" You smiled, looking at the ground.
"They sound fun..." Adam said, looking into the fire.
"I have a dad back in Jamaica. I moved away from him years back. He didn't really want to let me go" He chuckled, looking down as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Where did you move to?" You asked, tilting your head.
"Japan. I went on to be a teacher before I got... thrown here" He said, his voice going a little lower as he remembered his arrival.
"How did you get here?" You asked.
"A train flipped over with me, and... I fell to the ground, seeing scary black fog with claws coming out of it... that was the entity. It brought me here" He explained, playing with his hands.
"How long have you been here?" You asked, furrowing your eyebrows.
"Year or... two I think... Dwight over there has been here for four and a half already" Adam sighed.
"Wait... wh... we're not getting out?" You asked, sitting up.
"No..." Adam looked at you, and blankly responded.
"Never?" You asked, your breath fastening.
"Never." He wiggled his head slowly.
Your eyes teared up and you curled up into a smaller ball.

Adam sat closer and wrapped his trench coat around you, as well as his arm.
"I'm sorry..." He quietly said, feeling your pain.
"Does my family know?" You whimpered out after a while.
"No... noone knows... they'll try to search for you, but they'll never find you..." You felt Adam's grip tighten around you as hot tears poured down your face.

You cried for a good few minutes before you went very tired. You were just sitting under Adam's coat, listening to him explain the rules of this cruel land as you leaned on him.
He was the only one that cared...
You have to stick with him...
