After Y/N and Josh both left for their evening plans, Charli decided to go for a drive and get some air. She ended up parked outside of the frat house and took a deep breath before pushing her way in on the off chance that Jaden was home already. She knocked on his bedroom door and as she waited she rehearsed how she was going to tell him in her head. Shockingly, Mads is the one who swung the door open: "Jaden's in the shower, can I help you?"
Charli: "Uh- No. I was just coming to talk to him but it- it can wait."
Mads: *lying* "We are together now so whatever you have to say to him, you can say to me."
Charli took off towards her dorm and curled up in bed feeling as hopeless as ever. Charli woke up to a text from Chase and was shocked to see it was the middle of the afternoon.

Charli: "Why are you shaking? Oh, God. Did she find out that we've been seeing each other?"
Chase: "Not exactly. She uh-"
Charli: "What's wrong? Look, we knew this day was coming and she'd find out eventually. She will get over it, I promise. She loves you."
Charli could feel the color drain from her face as she realized what he was trying to say. He knew...: "She told you, didn't she?"
Chase: "I want to hear it from you."
Charli started to cry as Chase reasoned: "Is it mine? I mean unless it's the fastest conception ever it can't be mine- Oh God. It's Jaden's, isn't it?"
Charli: "He doesn't want anything to do with me. I just wanted him to be in my past and now THIS!'
Charli completely broke down as she saw her life crumbling in front of her: "God I was so close to being happy."
Chase: *pulling himself together* "Okay... OKAY! Then it's the past. We can talk to Jaden together and tell him that you and I are together and he can be as involved or not as he wants."
Charli: *still sobbing* "Are you sure that's what you want? To be with me, still?"
Chase: "We've spent all this time together and I tried to let you work out your Jaden issues but if you want that to be the past then-"
Charli interrupted him with a tear-filled kiss as Chase pleaded: "Stay with me tonight..."
