Charli was mostly right, the next week things had been back to mostly normal. Her and Jaden seemed to have returned to their love/hate friendship as if nothing happened. Tonight was the last night of relaxation before classes started back up in the morning. Josh was nervous because he had barely passed a few of his first semester classes, but tomorrow was a fresh start and you were determined to be less of a mess distracting him.
Josh: "The Beta Gamma party to kick off the new semester is tonight, do you guys want to go?"
You and Charli look at each other and shrug. You hadn't been planning to go, but if everyone else went you were sure it'd be fun.
Jaden: "I don't know... I was having fun here with you guys."
You can't help but notice how hard he's trying not to look at Charli when he said that and decide to help him out: "I really would rather stay in too if that's ok."
Josh: *giving you a quick kiss* "You got it, baby."
You: "What do you say Char... bestie night in?"
Charli: *grabbing a bottle of alcohol from under her bed* "Fine, but if we're staying in then we are going to have some drinking games of our own. It's become tradition to go to our first class of the semester hung over."
Everyone sits on the floor as she pours into the shot glasses lined up in the middle.
Charli: "Okay we can just do truth's because dares are hard with only 4 of us... and anyone who wants to pass has to take an entire shot."
Jaden: "I'll go first... Charli, who's your current crush."
Charli: "Hero Fiennes Tiffin."
Josh: "The dude who plays in that After movie?"
You: "God, yes!"
You all laugh as Jaden mumbles under his breath: "A bad boy? Promising."
Josh: "Jaden, c'mon man. You gotta spill. How the hell did you two end up in bed together on New Years Eve."
Jaden swallows hard and begins to tell the story...

At first Jaden had really enjoyed the room to himself. He had been back to campus for a few days after spending Christmas Day visiting family so after the first day, he was officially bored.
He decided to head over to Beta Gamma for the New Year's Eve Bash. He locked his door and turned down the hall and ran, literally, into Charli. The collision knocked her bag out of her hand so Jaden bent down to grab it for her while she unlocked her door.
Charli: "I can carry my own bag, ya know?"
Jaden: "I don't know. On your watch, it ended up on the floor."
