Before you could change direction, your phone rang again and you decided to answer it in case it was your parents. If you'd forgotten something, you'd rather not have them come up and discover it was a co-ed dorm. Your dad would haul you down to dorm services with lightning speed. You swipe to answer it a split second before you actually read the name across the screen. It was your ex-boyfriend and you took a deep sigh to prepare yourself for whatever fight he was wanting to start today. You: "Hi Vinnie."

Vinnie: "Why didn't you answer the first time?"

You: "I'm trying to carry stuff up to my room. I can't just drop everything."

Vinnie: "So the whole being friends thing was just crap?"

You: "Are you a freshman too?"

Charli: "Yep. I got here this morning. I'm so excited to meet you."

You: "You're too sweet. Have you had a chance to meet anyone in the building yet or see campus?"

Charli: "I was here in time for the tour, but other than that I've just been setting up my side. Hope it's okay that I picked this side. They seemed mostly the same. Wait, where is all your stuff."

Nessa: "My dad drives a small car so I came with shopping money, but unfortunately no ride to get to the store. Have you checked out the bus system?"

Charli: "Oh gosh, I'd love to check out the city. I have a car, we can go together!"
