Halfway through the movie Charli got invited to a party and asked if you two wanted to go. She offered to stay home but you were relieved when Josh insisted she go and we'd just finish the movie. You waited for almost an hour for him to make a move, but he seemed distant. You were stressing that admitting you'd run into Jaden and been upset by him had pushed Josh away. You didn't want Jaden anymore, but did Josh think you did?
Sometime during the movie Josh fell asleep and you cuddled up next to N him instead of waking him. If the kiss was a one time curiosity and not a chance at more than you were going to enjoy pretending your feelings were mutual. Before long you drifted off to sleep and fell into a bad dream.

You were kissing Josh, but when you pulled away Jaden was above you. You were so confused and before you could push him off Vinnie was coming closer with a pillow he intended to smother you with. You tried to scream out for Josh, but he just looked at you in disgust as Jaden laughed and moved to let Vinnie smother you. Everything in you tried to force dream Vinnie off of you but you felt like the blankets were holding you down.
You gasped for breath as you felt something shaking you out of your dream. It was Josh laying next to you trying to wake you up because you'd been thrashing around. The moment you saw his sweet face, the reality of how scary the dream had been really hits you and you started to cry.
Josh: "Hey, hey. I'm right here. Was it a bad dream? You're ok. Everything is okay."
You: *burying your face in his chest, crying* "You don't want me do you? I'm too messed up because of being screwed over by boys in my past and now you're never going to want me."
Josh: "Wait, what?"
Before you can respond, Josh realized what you were saying and didn't waste a second before pressing his lips to yours, softly. You don't know what came over you, but in that moment all you wanted was to be reassured that someone as amazing as Josh could actually want you back. His lips were moving against yours and you pulled your body closer to his.
It's as if you wanted to leave no distance at all between you and the closer you moved, the deeper his kiss grew. He rolled you over from next to him, to under him as your hands tangled up in his hair. A soft whimper escaped from your throat against his lips and he pulled your shirt off of you. You paused, nervous for him to see you in just your bra.
Josh: "I just want to feel your skin against mine while we kiss.'
You were so grateful that Charli never came home because you were able to fall asleep shirtless next to him, skin to skin, wrapped in his arms.
